🏨 Italy’s Banca dati delle strutture ricettive (BDSR) launched on September 3, 2024, with 567,000 facilities registered, over 60% (340,623 units) have obtained the CIN within three months. The Ministry of Tourism has extended the deadline to acquire the CIN to January 1, 2025, to ensure equal treatment and smooth functioning of the data interoperability system. Operators can easily apply for the CIN in real-time using SPID or CIE. An automatic CIN allocation after a 30-day inactivity period from the Public Administration is available.
