Certified Italian walkers totaled 122,000, with the actual number estimated at nearly 191,500 considering non-issuance and non-retrieval of Credentials, marking a 29% annual increase and 24.4% rise over 2023. Around 40% walk for 2-4 weeks, 23% for 3 days to 1 week, 22% for 1-2 months, and 15% for over two months annually. Emilia Romagna, Tuscany, and Lazio house the densest network of paths, and 57% extend their destination stay. A focus on young people 0-35 highlighted the challenge-driven nature of the experience.
