Dal Giubileo alle Olimpiadi I due volti dei grandi eventi

  • Automatic
  • 1 Aprile 2025
🏕 Rome's Giubileo fails to attract the expected tourist boom; December and January show no growth, even falling below previous year's numbers, according to Giuseppe Roscioli, president of Federalberghi Roma. Enit's president, Alessandra Priante, echoes similar sentiments, citing excessive expectations may have caused panic. The event's low turnout mirrors the Paris Olympics, suggesting a shift in tourism dynamics with destinations now choosing to select rather than attract tourists amidst overcrowding and travel demand spikes post-pandemic.

Oliver Wyman: la crescita vorticosa del trasporto aereo è a rischio per mancanza di aeromobili

  • Laura Alese - Federturismo Confindustria
  • 31 Marzo 2025
✈ By 2035, the global fleet is expected to grow from 28,000 to 38,000 aircraft, a 3% annual increase. However, production is lagging, with 2,000 fewer aircraft produced than ordered by 2030. Narrow-body aircraft will be short by 1,200 planes. Airbus is producing 47 A320s monthly, down from 59 in 2019, and Boeing's B737 Max production is capped at 38 per month, down from a peak of 51 in 2018. This imbalance leads to higher aircraft prices, reliance on older, less efficient planes, and increased operational costs for airlines. Production needs to double to meet the demand by 2035.
