Marca del distributore: cresce fatturato e sostenibilità della filiera

📊 In 2024, distributor brand products (MDD) in Italy generated a turnover of €26 billion, a +2.4% increase from 2023, and +35.4% since 2019. Presented by TEHA at MARCA by BolognaFiere 2025 on January 15th, the study highlights MDD as a sustainability benchmark, raising standards and fostering sustainable practices in the agri-food chain. Over 80% of Italian food consumption passes through Modern Distribution, with MDD companies seeing an annual turnover increase of 8.5% from 2015 to 2023. The sector employs 447,000 people directly, supports 2.9 million jobs, and saved Italian families nearly €20 billion from 2020 to 2024. CO2 emissions dropped by 30% in 10 years within the sector.

Disney Cruise Line, in arrivo quattro nuove navi

🎢 Disney Cruise Line plans to expand its fleet with four new ships between 2027 and 2031. Three ships will be in a new class and one will join the existing Wish class. Built by Meyer Werft in Germany, the new class ships will each carry 3,000 guests, weigh approximately 100,000 gross tons, and are 20% larger than the Disney Magic class. Deliveries for these are scheduled for 2029, 2030, and 2031. Emphasizing sustainability, they feature aerodynamic hulls, advanced propulsion, and energy-saving operations. They can run on various fuels, including treated vegetable oil and renewable methanol, and are adaptable to future fuel alternatives. The Disney Wish twin, along with Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny, to be delivered in 2027, will accommodate 4,000 passengers and operate on LNG. The expansion aligns with The Walt Disney Company's 2030 environmental goals.
