Nasce FBCA & Food and Beverage Carton Alliance, un’alleanza globale per imballaggi sostenibili

📦 FBCA - Food and Beverage Carton Alliance is a new organization formed from the merger of ACE and EXTR:ACT, aiming to promote sustainable packaging solutions to ensure food safety, reduce waste, and support low-carbon circular economies. FBCA's Board of Directors includes Patrick Verhelst (President FBCA, Elopak), Ulrika Wedberg (Vice President FBCA, Billerud), Karina Boers (SIG), Tamara Bullock (Tetra Pak), and Erik Hallberg (Stora Enso). FBCA plans to drive sustainability in the beverage and food carton industry globally.

Edoardo Tizzanini trionfa nella finale italiana della S.Pellegrino Young Chef Academy Competition 2024&2025

🍴 Edoardo Tizzanini, sous chef at Da Vittorio in Brusaporto, Bergamo, won the Italian Finale of the S.Pellegrino Young Chef Academy Competition 2024-2025, which is in its 6th edition. He triumphed on January 21 with his signature dish "An Artichoke Heart" at the Officine del Volo in Milan, judged by an exceptional jury including Davide Di Fabio and Isabella Potì. The competition also awarded Alessio Magistro, Josefina Zojza, and Lorenzo Manosperti with special prizes. Tizzanini will compete in the international final in October 2025, mentored by Giancarlo Perbellini.

Leolandia accelera, emesso il primo bond da 12,5 milioni

🎭 Giuseppe Ira, President of Leolandia Group, announced a €12.5 million bond issued by Leolandia Holding Spa to accelerate growth and invest in theme park enhancements and environmental initiatives. Banca Finint structured and placed the 6-year bond, subscribed by Ver Capital SGR, Finint Investments, and Solution Bank. The bond will extend Leolandia's offerings to children up to 12 years and includes 10 attractions with 2 new ones opening by summer. Aiming for a 20% visitor increase over 2024's one million, Leolandia also plans sustainable tourism infrastructure upgrades, including a photovoltaic system for energy self-sufficiency.
