🛐 The 10th edition of the MEET Forum on Sustainable Tourism will focus on religious and spiritual tourism, attracting millions of travelers annually, and is set to take place in Rome at the Pio Sodalizio dei Piceni - Complesso San Salvatore in Lauro on May 8th. Organized by Destination Italia, the event will address sustainability in tourism, especially relevant in Rome during the Jubilee year. High-level participants include Monsignor Rino Fisichella, Monsignor Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Minister Daniela Santanchè, and Minister Nello Musumeci, among others. The forum will discuss actions related to environmental, social, and economic sustainability, with spiritual tourism expected to bring over 5.6 million pilgrims in 2025, significantly contributing to Italy's tourism sector and national system.

🍤 The Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC) will feature at TuttoFood 2025 from May 5-8 in Milan's Rho exhibition district, promoting "Seafood from Norway." Over 80% of Italian consumers want to know fish product origins, and 70% consider sustainability key. The NSC stand, developed with Innovation Norway and the Royal Norwegian Embassy, will be in Hall 7 – Stand P01, aiming to enhance the presence and reinforce the established reputation of Norwegian seafood in Italy.

🍞 Mulino Caputo's new flour, Alba, will be featured at TUTTOFOOD in Milan (Padiglione 6 Stand 39) from May 5-8; it's specially developed for Italian breakfast pastries like brioche and croissants. Alba is a product of extensive research, slowly ground from high-quality grains for lightness and naturalness. It enriches Caputo's pastry line, including gluten-free and specialty baking flours. Notable professionals like Loretta Fanella and Rocco Cannavino will present and interpret the range at the event.

💧 Acqua Minerale San Benedetto will feature at TUTTOFOOD 2025 in Fieramilano from May 5-8, showcasing a wide range of innovative beverages at Pavilion 14 – Stand A31. 🏖️ Caribe Bay is hiring for the summer peak season starting Saturday, May 31. The water park in Jesolo is filling 150 positions across various areas including attractions, ticketing, warehouse, parking, lifeguarding, cleaning, and maintenance. A key focus is on the food & beverage sector, with recent expansions including a new eatery and a chiringuito in the Silver Cape relaxation area. Positions open include operational coordination of 13 kiosks and food preparation roles like kitchen prep, runners, warehouse staff, counter attendants, and snack vendors – no experience needed. Benefits include 13th and 14th salary, overtime, season-end bonus, and additional incentives. 🏁 AMARO DEL CICLISTA TALK, hosted by Riccardo Magrini and Luca Gregorio, is set for April 28, 2025, at URBAN FACTORY LAB, Trento, from 21:00 to 23:00, with free entry. The event will explore the "Grandi Giri" cycling races, including the Giro d'Italia, Tour de France, and Vuelta a España, as well as week-long races. CASONI LIQUORI distillery's new format celebrates cycling and spirits through 15 live events, including tastings of Casoni Liquori products.

🗽 In Rome, the Liberation Day and Pope Francis' funeral caused a surge in hospitality occupancy, nearly reaching full capacity. Giuseppe Roscioli of Federalberghi Rome reported 205,000 hotel stays and 115,000 extra-hotel accommodations. Bars and restaurants saw a 35% increase in revenue over the same period last year, with estimated earnings of €42 million. Many visitors extended their stay to attend the funeral, balancing out last-minute cancellations.

✈️ On August 1, 2025, Etihad Airways is set to launch the new Airbus A321LR, which brings wide-body luxury to short and medium-haul routes, as stated by CEO Antonoaldo Neves. The A321LR features two private First Suites with sliding doors and fully flat beds, 14 forward-facing Business seats in a herringbone layout with 198 cm fully flat beds, and 144 Economy seats with up to 12.7 cm recline and 46.7 cm width. Etihad's aircraft are equipped with Viasat system enabling up to 1 Gbps Wi-Fi speeds. Ten A321LRs will join the fleet in 2025, flying from Abu Dhabi's Zayed International Airport to destinations including Milan and others. First-class passengers receive personalized Etihad Concierge service and private chauffeur services.

🌼 The inaugural Garnish Game, celebrating edible flowers in mixology, was held on April 14 in a blooming edible flower greenhouse in Mira, Venice. Directed by Samuele Ambrosi, renowned in the bar industry, the event challenged four young bartenders from top Italian cocktail bars. The winner, Ivan Geraci from Palermo, crafted a cocktail named “Four” with a blend of four types of dried edible flowers creating a pink hue and a surprising aromatic bouquet. L'Insalata dell'Orto, Europe's leading edible flower producer with 40,000 square meters of dedicated greenhouses, and a daily harvest of up to 100,000 flowers, hosted the event.

🍷 14th edition of Paestum Wine Fest Business planned from May 4-6, 2025, at NEXT venue, headed by Angelo Zarra and Alessandro Rossi. Supported by Campania Region, Salerno Chamber of Commerce, and more. Over 20 international buyers expected. Notable wine industry figures including Charlie Arturaola and Chiara Giannotti to attend.
