Costa d'Oro lancia i primi oli di semi senza pesticidi residui: rivoluzione nella categoria premium
🌽 Costa d’Oro, Italy’s fourth largest olive oil brand, unveiled its new visual identity at Tuttofood, emphasizing naturalness and premium quality. The company launched the first Italian extra-virgin olive oil with Zero Pesticide Residues, verified by external labs and certified by SGS Italia. Two new sunflower seed oils without pesticide residues were introduced: one for cooking and raw use, rich in vitamins D and K; the other, "Zero Che Fritto!", for high-temperature frying. In 2023, Nomisma reported that 2 out of 3 Italians prioritize sustainable food products. Costa d’Oro has reduced its environmental impact by 57% in PVC waste, saved 30% of water resources, and adopted sustainable logistics and transportation choices. The "Planet O-live" sustainability program reached 430,000 olive trees, promoting sustainable agriculture, and achieved 75% energy autonomy from renewable sources. CEO Pascal Pinson aims to involve more Italian olive growers to reach 1 million trees by 2030. The ESG 2023 Report highlighted 158 tons of CO2 saved, a 57% reduction in PVC waste, 30% water saved, 15% less plastic waste, and €187 million in economic value generated.
