Travel figures are expected to reach $1.72 trillion by 2025, with online booking growth projected between 8-12% annually. By 2026, around 65% of bookings will be made online. Last year, over 75% of airline ticket spending was done online via airline websites or apps, while overall carrier revenues are set to increase less than 10% annually. Hotel bookings in 2024 surpassed $570 billion, with online reservations expected to account for 58% of the total market by 2026. AI utilization in leisure travel is around 18%, with 65% of users employing it to generate trip ideas. Within the next 12 months, 50% of travelers anticipate using generative AI for their trips.
