  • Laura Alese - Federturismo Confindustria
  • 10 Febbraio 2025
🛫 Milan, February 10, 2025 – ANAV's report, presented at the Borsa Italiana del Turismo, highlights a burdensome tax and restriction system on tourist buses that could hinder the sector's growth. Over 50 Italian cities, each with its own tariff system, collectively yield approximately €100 million annually. Bus tourists in cities like Rome, Florence, and Venice may pay beyond €20 per day, triple that of other transport users. ANAV President Nicola Biscotti reveals a significant drop in bus tourism, exceeding 30% compared to 2019, and urges for a ministerial decree to standardize and cap ZTL tariffs.

  • Laura Alese - Federturismo Confindustria
  • 10 Febbraio 2025
💸 In January 2025, Italian inflation rose by 1.5%, with regulated energy goods such as electricity and gas tariffs for domestic use contributing significantly. The national consumer price index (NIC) increased by 0.6% monthly, excluding tobacco. Regulated tariffs soared by 27.8% annually, while non-regulated energy goods like vehicle fuels, lubricants, and domestic fuels saw a decrease in deflation from -4.2% to -3.0%. Processed food prices grew from +1.7% to +2.0%. Transportation service prices slowed from +3.6% to +2.5%, communication services from +1.2% to +0.9%. Core inflation excluding energy and fresh food remained stable at +1.8%, whereas excluding only energy goods, it slightly increased from +1.7% to +1.8%. The monthly general index increase was driven by regulated energy prices (+14.5%), unregulated energy (+2.6%), processed food (+1.2%), unprocessed food (+0.9%), and durable goods (+0.5%), partially offset by the transport services price drop (-2.3%). The year-on-year Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) changed by -0.7% monthly due to winter sales and +1.7% annually. Pulizia della Casa Vacanze: Guida Completa per i Gestori degli Affitti

  • Karina
  • 6 Febbraio 2025
📌 In Italy's thriving vacation rental market, cleanliness is critical for guest satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and long-term success. Regions like Piedmont are tightening hygiene standards, with laws requiring documented cleaning proof. Guest satisfaction is paramount, with 84% of travelers citing cleanliness as their top priority, leading to better reviews and higher nightly rates. Italian regulations, like the national "Codice del Turismo," outline minimum sanitary standards for holiday rentals. Efficient cleaning processes can reduce guest changeover times and maintenance costs. Essential cleaning includes deep disinfection, inventory checks, and safety inspections. Managers should be aware of local laws, maintain cleaning records, use eco-friendly products, employ quality equipment, and provide staff training. Technology like Chekin can help automate scheduling and compliance documentation. A detailed checklist ensures no oversight, with focus areas like bathrooms, kitchens, and floors receiving special attention. Feedback collection post-stay can identify overlooked cleaning issues. A downloadable checklist is available to ensure compliance with Italian standards.
