Daniele Gagliotta vince il decimo Campionato Mondiale Pizza DOC
🍕 Daniele Gagliotta, 32, from Naples and resident in Washington D.C., won the 10th World Pizza DOC Championship and was named "Best Italian Pizzaiolo in the World" in November 2024 in Capaccio – Paestum, Italy. His winning pizza included shrimp bisque, olive oil, datterino tomatoes, fiordilatte, and taggiasche olives, garnished with buffalo stracciatella, shrimp tartare, lemon zest, sprouts, beet flowers, and mint. Nearly 900 pizzas were made by over 500 participants from more than 30 countries. The event took place from November 12th to 14th, 2024, at the NEXT – Nuova Esposizione ex Tabacchificio, organized by the Accademia Nazionale Pizza DOC.
