Viareggio, il re dell’Arabia Saudita ospite del Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte

🏦 King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia, 88, in power since 2015, stayed for ten days at the Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte, a five-star luxury hotel in Viareggio, accompanied by wives, grandchildren, and service staff, plus selected bodyguards. The hotel reserved 41 of its 80 rooms for his entourage, dedicating the entire third and fourth floors for the princesses and servants, and granted exclusive use of the rooftop and its kitchen. King Salman occupied the 150 square meter presidential suite, designed by Stefano Ricci. The hotel logistics were partially revised, including a play area for children, a private dining room in the Butterfly Room, and a taste test of dishes by star-rated executive chef Giuseppe Mancino with an Arab tester.

Air France-Klm e Sas, al via in settembre l’accordo di codeshare

✈ Air France-KLM and SAS signed a codeshare and interline agreement operational from September 1, 2024, as SAS joins the SkyTeam alliance. The codeshare covers a broad range of European destinations, with Air France and KLM customers gaining access to 33 Northern European destinations plus SAS hubs in Copenhagen, Oslo, and Stockholm. SAS customers will access 33 European destinations and hubs at Paris Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam Schiphol airports. The interline agreement extends across Air France, KLM, and SAS's European networks. Flying Blue and EuroBonus members can earn and spend miles/points on all flights operated from September 1, 2024. EuroBonus eligible members will also enjoy SkyTeam benefits such as SkyPriority and lounge access.
