📍 Palladium Hotel Group is set to debut in Italy with the Only YOU Hotel Venice Bonvecchiati. Located in an 18th-century building near Piazza San Marco, Venice, the hotel will offer 162 rooms and be classified as five-star. Although no specific opening date is provided, the Spanish company is undergoing extensive renovations. Palladium also has five Only YOU hotels in Spain in Madrid, Malaga, Seville, and Valencia, and operates the luxury Bless Collection Hotels in Madrid and Barcelona.

🏨 Capella Group is opening its first European hotel with 89 rooms, including 33 suites and 10 private residences, in Florence by 2027. Located on Via San Gallo, the 16th-century convent complex is undergoing restoration. The site will feature a Tuscan restaurant, sushi omakase, a rooftop bar, speakeasy-style cellar, spa, and cultural event space. Designed by Rossi Prodi Associati and others, the Singapore-based group plans to expand to 20 global locations by 2030.

📍 Hotel De Russie, Rome, marks 25 years with Rocco Forte Hotels through a €30 million renovation led by Olga Polizzi. On June 10, the De Russie Spa reopened, offering treatments by Irene Forte Skincare, SkinCeuticals, and Swiss Perfection. The hotel’s centerpiece, the 210 sqm Suite Nijinsky, features a 240 sqm terrace overlooking Villa Borghese. The Giardino Segreto and Bar Stravinskij also received upgrades, preserving tradition and style.

🏨 JW Marriott's first Greek resort opened in Crete, near Chania, along the Aegean coast. Designed by Athens-based Block722, it features natural materials and expansive green spaces. The resort offers 160 elegant rooms, suites, and villas, most with private pools and panoramic sea views, reflecting Mediterranean-inspired interiors. Bruce Rohr, JW Marriott's global brand leader, highlighted this launch as a milestone for luxury hospitality in Greece.

🏨 The San Clemente Palace Hotel in Venice will be managed by the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, starting November 2025. Restoration will occur in three phases, with reopening as Mandarin Oriental, Venice in April 2026. The hotel will feature 136 rooms and suites, redesigned by Albion Nord. The property will include four restaurants, The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, holistic wellness spaces, and date back over nine centuries, including a 12th-century church.

🏖 Masseria Torre Maizza, part of Rocco Forte Hotels for 6 years, unveils 'Borgo degli Ulivi' in July 2025. The expansion includes 11 new suites, each with a pool and garden. Olga Polizzi designed 6 Junior Suites (55m²), 4 Corner Suites (70m²), and the 75m² Itria Suite. Two exclusive itineraries offer foraging and marine sound baths. Culinary offerings by Fulvio Pierangelini enhance the experience at the resort's restaurants and beach club, Lido Bambù.

🍴 Ciro Accardo, chef at Gli Ulivi Restaurant, located in Scala, Costiera Amalfitana, offers a culinary experience emphasizing local ingredients and contemporary techniques. With 50 seats available, the restaurant serves informal lunches and elaborate dinners featuring tasting menus and à la carte options. The menu showcases dishes like lamb soffritto and citrus risotto. Accardo, mentored by Gennaro Esposito, follows a circular cooking philosophy, using produce from his organic garden. The wine list highlights Campanian labels and international selections.

🍳 Il Gruppo 50 Kalò di Ciro Salvo e Alessandro Guglielmini inaugura a luglio 2025 Casa 50 – Cucina mediterranea a Napoli, in piazza Sannazaro. Chef Giovanni Sorrentino, noto per il ristorante Gerani, guida il locale, offrendo 80 coperti all'interno e 70 all'esterno su 600 mq. 50 Kalò, fondato nel 2014, gestisce quattro pizzerie, un'hamburgeria e un B&B.
