🏨 NYX Hotel Rome, part of Leonardo Hotels, opens in Rome's Prati district following a €30 million renovation of Hotel Cicerone. Scheduled for summer 2025, it features 324 rooms across eight floors, dining options like Tullia and Clash Restaurant & Bar, and meeting spaces. The Michaelides studio oversaw architecture and historical restoration. This marks Leonardo Hotels' third Rome location and 11th NYX in Central Europe. With €60 million revenue predicted, NYX aims to lead urban lifestyle hospitality.

🍴 Porticcioli Milano opened in early 2025, located at Via Losanna 11, Milan. Who? Founded by Riccardo Condorelli and Lorenzo Postolache. Who leads the kitchen? Chef Ciro Tecchio, with 15+ years of experience in Mediterranean cuisine. What? The menu includes seafood, meats, and plant-based dishes, with a wine list and over 60 gin labels. How many seats? 46. The restaurant also hosts private events with custom menus.

🏨 Pacini Group and IHG's Garner Rome Aurelia, opening in Rome's north, is Garner's first Italian location. The midscale hotel features 58 rooms, a 24/7 lounge bar, a Roman cuisine restaurant, a garden area, and a large business meeting room. It's near the Vatican and accessible to Rome Fiumicino Airport. Guests can join IHG One Rewards, with over 130 million members globally, for special rates and benefits at more than 6,000 hotels worldwide.

🏨 Italy's architectural prowess shines as two Roman hotels, Palazzo Talìa and Romeo Roma, make the 2025 Prix Versailles World's Most Beautiful Hotels List. 🍺 Palermo, 5 months ago, First Call opened as a cinema-themed bar. It occupies 150 sqm, featuring different themed rooms like the Green Room and Director’s Rooms. Owners Gabrielė Valkiūnaitė and Nadeem “Nax” Hayder launched a signature drink list called “Act one”, with iconic cocktails from movies like James Bond and Casablanca. Special events include live music and interactive quizzes. The food menu is under revision for the summer tourist influx.

📍 Milan Marriott Hotel reopens after renovation with 317 modern rooms and over 3,000 sqm of event space. Located in Milan, it boasts the largest conference center in the city center. The hotel features two 400 sqm halls, 14 meeting rooms, and by year-end, new dining and leisure areas, including the "Leonardo" room. Managed by Russotti Gestioni Hotels, they operate 1,476 rooms across Italy, aiming to cater to evolving traveler needs.

🏨 Cala Ponte, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel by Marriott, opens in Polignano a Mare, Italy. Developed by the Dimarno family, this five-star hotel features 58 rooms across a main structure and four residential islands. The project, led by engineer Vincenzo Nuzzi and CUBE LAB, emphasizes local identity. Guests can enjoy a pool, spa, gym, tennis and soccer fields, and dining at Hedoné restaurant. The hotel offers versatile spaces for corporate and intimate events.

🍴 Dispensa Emilia has opened its sixth restaurant in Bologna, bringing its total in Italy to 52. Located in Porta Maggiore, the new site integrates urban sustainability by offering cyclist amenities. 🏖 Le Dune Resort, a 4-star beachfront hotel in Porto Palo di Menfi, joins BWH Hotels Italia & Malta’s Signature Collection for summer 2025.
