🏝️ Edition will open The Lake Como Edition in Cadenabbia next March. The hotel will feature 148 rooms, including 25 suites and 2 penthouses. Creative directors Kirstin Bailey and Paul Haslhofer, along with Neri&Hu, will merge Italian elegance with modern design. Michelin-starred chef Mauro Colagreco will lead the culinary offerings. Guests can enjoy the Longevity Spa, integrating anti-aging science with holistic rituals, and a floating lake pool with a restaurant and lounge bar.

📅 2026 brings exciting developments for Four Seasons, featuring the debut of Four Seasons Yacht, offering 95 suites with personalized itineraries in the Mediterranean and Caribbean. The Private Jet Experience includes Ancient Explorer and International Intrigue routes, covering 8-9 destinations over 21-23 days. Key hotel reopenings and new launches are planned globally, including Venice's Hotel Danieli, Paris' George V, and resorts in Saudi Arabia, Mykonos, Mauritius, Miami, Hawaii, Colombia, Vietnam, and Tokyo.

🛳 Crystal Grace, the first of three new Crystal ships, will debut between 2028 and 2032, with an inaugural cruise on June 11, 2028. It will accommodate 650 passengers in double occupancy, featuring restaurants like Beefbar and Nobu's Umi Uma. Existing ships, Serenity (from 2003) and Symphony (from 1995), underwent major renovations and resumed service in 2023 under A&K Travel Group's new ownership.

It features two 400 sqm halls, 14 modular rooms, and advanced technology. The hotel offers 317 rooms, with 180 already revamped. Located near major landmarks, it combines business and leisure appeal. Ristorante “Leonardo” and a new club enhance its offerings. Managed by Russotti Gestioni Hotels, it strengthens RGH's leadership in Italian hospitality.

🏠 Villa Paola in Tropea undergoes a transformation starting autumn 2025, completing by spring 2026. The project by Palomba Serafini Associati introduces 14 renovated rooms and new spaces, blending historical charm with contemporary comfort. Built between 1543-1552 as a convent, it became a noble residence and now a boutique hotel. Local artisans enhance its Mediterranean essence. Previously hosting Luchino Visconti and Claudia Cardinale, it features the fine dining restaurant “De’Minimi.”

📰 Sonder, a hybrid of Airbnb and short-term rentals, has declared liquidation after Marriott terminated their agreement due to non-compliance. TripAdvisor is laying off 20% of its staff, merging operations with Viator. Thailand saw a 7.22% drop in international tourists from January to November 2025. 🏨 Meliá Hotels International, led by CEO Gabriel Escarrer, aims to expand in Saudi Arabia, adding 1,000 hotel rooms by 2027. This plan, part of the Saudi Vision 2030 strategy to diversify the economy and boost tourism, was announced at the Tourise 2025 event in Riyadh. The collaboration with the Tourism Development Fund will focus on Riyadh, Mecca, Medina, Aseer, and the Eastern Province. Meliá already operates in Dubai and Bahrain.

🛌 Zedwell's first fully underground hotel opened in London's bustling Tottenham Court Road, offering affordable and central accommodation. Known for its innovative pod hotel concept, Zedwell maximizes space and ensures soundproof cocoons, featuring customizable lighting and temperature. This former parking lot now blends original pillars with modern design. With further locations in Piccadilly Circus, Greenwich, and Knightsbridge, Zedwell plans 15 new openings by 2028, targeting a young, budget-conscious audience. Digital check-ins and adjustable room settings enhance guest experience.
