Sorbillo inaugura il suo primo locale in stazione a Roma Termini

🍕 Pizzeria Sorbillo opens a new outlet at Rome Termini station, marking its first entry into the Italian railway circuit. The inauguration is the result of a partnership between SSP Frabeli and Grandi Stazioni Retail. Sorbillo, founded by renowned pizzaiolo and entrepreneur Gino Sorbillo, offers a variety of pizzas inspired by different Italian regions. The quality of ingredients includes organic flours and fresh vegetables. SSP Group plc operates food and beverage outlets at travel locations, employing about 49,000 people across 3,000 units in 37 countries.

The company, pioneering radicchio infusions since the 1970s with Amaro Trevisano, expands its offerings including Gin G with Uva Fragola and two new bitters—Spicy Bitter and Bitter Cacao. Founded in 1925 after Guglielmo Negroni received support from composer Giuseppe Verdi, the distillery moved to Treviso Province in 1965 and was acquired by the Palla family in 1993.

IPSOS research for CIRFOOD DISTRICT reveals 56% of workers feel time scarcity impacts stress, while 58% without a company canteen desire one, rising to 67% among under-35s. CIRFOOD serves over 100,000 employees daily. Trends show 62% prioritize health and well-being in food choices, with 67% valuing sustainability and ethics. Meal choices are driven by cost (90%), ingredient naturalness (89%), balanced diet (86%), time savings (86%), and sociability (69%).

Founded in 2010 and based in Milan, Imoon operates internationally in retail and hospitality.

Vinitaly 2025: La Maliosa protagonista con i suoi vini naturali

🍷 Fattoria La Maliosa will participate in the 57th Vinitaly from April 6-10 in Verona, showcasing an expanded selection at Padigione 8 (stand 21 – E8/E9) organized by FIVI. A Masterclass with Sarah Abbott MW, featuring Saturnalia white wine, kicks off on April 6 at 11 am in Sala A, Padiglione 10. On April 7, La Maliosa joins Raw Wine (stand 102) from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm and hosts a tasting for La Maliosa Rosso at 3 pm. April 7 and 8 also include participation in Vinari at Crowne Platza Hotel (stand no. 54) from 11 am to 7 pm for industry professionals.

Chef Tina Marcelli, awarded a Michelin Green Star in 2024, heads the resort's culinary experience, focusing on local, micro-seasonal products at the main restaurant Johanns and the Club House, with exclusive tasting menus at the gourmet section.
