Lo studio Danone su italiani e yogurt: consumi in crescita e attenzione alla salute
🥚 In Italy, yogurt and fermented milk product consumption increased from 8.8kg to 10kg per capita annually over the past four years. Supermarkets and hypermarkets saw a 0.8% volume sales increase, specialist personal care and home stores 4.5%, discounts 2.6%, and e-commerce 10.8%. Danone Italia, with Circana, Kantar, SKIM, and YouGov, conducted the study on over 25,000 consumers, presented on May 7, 2025. 41% of Italians have adopted preventative medical routines, up from 33% in 2022, and 52% believe in a balanced diet for a healthy life. Italians consume less yogurt than other European countries, with annual per capita consumption at 10kg compared to 49kg in Croatia, highlighting growth potential. Online, 43% of Italians research yogurt before or during purchase, and e-commerce sales increased by 10.8% with 33 million online shoppers. Danone aims to raise annual per capita consumption to 15kg.
