World pizza champion Giuseppe Criminisi will offer gourmet tastings using Agromonte's cherry tomatoes. NielsenIQ sales data rank Agromonte's Salsa di Ciliegino as the top-seller in Italy as of March 2025.

🔔 The Consorzio Grana Padano will be featured at TUTTOFOOD 2025, held at Fiera Milano Rho from May 5 to 8, with a stand of 180 sqm inspired by the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milan Cortina 2026. More than 3,000 brands will be present over 150,000 sqm of exhibition space. RTL 102.5 will broadcast live from the event, featuring interviews with institutional figures and sports personalities. The Consorzio reported a 2.79% increase from January to March after a record 2024, despite Trump's tariffs, maintaining a commitment to millennia-old traditions. Key events include masterclasses with ONAF experts on May 5, "Il Gusto dello Sport" on May 6, and "Sorsi di Mondo" on May 7, offering a cocktail experience with live music.

🍕 A survey by Fattorie Garofalo, the world's leading producer of Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP, found that 68% of 1,200 European consumers incorrectly cut the cheese into slices, affecting its flavor balance. Other missteps include eating it straight from the fridge, immersing it in tap water, and using heavy condiments. 31% disregard origin labels. Germans top the list of Europeans who consume mozzarella properly, with Italians ranking fourth. The study precedes the TuttoFood fair in Milan from May 5 to 8.

📍 Human Company will launch its full season on May 24 with the opening of hu I Pini village, following the reopening of its sites in Tuscany, Veneto, Lazio, and Luxembourg. Over €37 million invested for improvement, including €13 million on 300 new eco-friendly mobile homes. The focus includes sustainability with electric car charging stations and accessibility with hu stay Smart For All mobile homes. New experiences like Nature Hub are introduced alongside edutainment activities promoting local culture and nature. 🌊 Blue Lagoon in Comino, Malta, introduces an online reservation system starting from May 1. Visitors must book a free slot at bluelagooncomino.it for either morning (8-13), afternoon (13:30-17:30), or evening (18-22) sessions. A unique QR code is provided upon booking to gain access, along with a wristband for the reserved time slot. 🚂 By 2025, two-thirds of 681 surveyed business travelers in Europe and Asia-Pacific would prefer trains over planes given comparable costs and times, according to Bcd Travel. Six out of ten anticipate the same number of train trips as the previous year, with 18% expecting more. One-third report company policies favoring trains for short distances, yet only 6% mandate it, and 60% lack clear communication.
