🏖 Pier Ezhaya of Alpitour World confirms that Egypt's tourism is recovering to 80% of its 2023 levels. In 2023, Egypt accounted for €54 million of Alpitour's €141 million EBITDA. The company offset potential losses by reallocating capacity to the Canaries and Cape Verde. ✈ Singapore Airlines increases flights on the London Gatwick to Singapore route to daily service starting March 31. Mohamed Rafi Mar, Singapore Airlines' General Manager for UK and Ireland, states this expansion within the first year reflects the success of their service, noting their 40 weekly direct services between the UK and Singapore outnumber any other carrier in the region.

✈️ Genoa's Cristoforo Colombo Airport is set to offer over 1.240 million seats for the summer 2025 season, starting March 30, marking a 16% increase from 2024. New routes include a Wizz Air connection to Warsaw from May 1, three times a week, and to Krakow starting June 17, also thrice weekly. Existing routes are expanding: Volotea's flights to Paris Orly will double to four per week in April, May, June, September, and October. Vueling will increase Barcelona flights, reaching a daily service in August. ✈ Aeroitalia expands its routes with new flights from Rome Fiumicino to Brno, Czech Republic (Thursday and Sunday), and Lublin, Poland (Tuesday and Saturday). The airline awaits the arrival of its tenth B737-800. On the first day, Aeroitalia had 120 incoming and 100 outgoing passengers, with the next flight on April 5 sold out.
