Tunisia, l’anno della svolta Jatlaoui: “I viaggi culturali spingono i numeri”

  • Tony Loeb
  • 17 Marzo 2025
🏖️ Tunisia witnessed a comeback in tourism with a total of 10 million international arrivals in 2024, experiencing a 20% growth in the Italian market. The trend shifted towards cultural tourism, with increased interest in the country's historical, archaeological, and cultural sites, aiding in the destagionalization of Tunisia's tourism which was previously focused on coastal attractions during summer months. Enhancements in connections, like Tunisair's new Catania-Tunis flight, aim to further market growth, particularly in Southern Italy. The national tourism board's promotional campaign 'Vivi l’istante' targets various niches, including up-level tourism with a focus on golf and thalassotherapy, and spotlighting northern regions like Tabarka. Digital channels are also being leveraged to achieve the goal of attracting 200,000 Italian visitors.
