🍷 Italian wine exports hit a record €8 billion in turnover in 2024, with nearly 22 million hectoliters shipped abroad, marking a +5.5% increase in value and +3.2% in quantity compared to the previous year. Sparkling wines, representing 25% of export volume and 29% of value, saw a 12% growth in quantity and a 9% rise in revenue. Italy remains the world leader in exported volumes, second in value after France. DOP wines grew by 6.5% in value and 7.6% in volume. The U.S. confirmed as Italy's top wine market, accounting for 24% of total export turnover, up 10.2% in value. Other key markets include Germany, the U.K., Canada (+15.3% revenue), and Russia (over +40% in both value and volume).

The underlying free cash flow was €225 million, with total free cash flow hitting €197 million. Adjusted net financial position improved to -€346 million as of December 31, 2024. The ND/EBITDA ratio (including IFRS 16) was 1.95x, dropping to 1.38x excluding IFRS 16. Revenue by product category saw a 9% growth in Fish to €465 million, a 6% increase in Milk Products to €274.5 million, and a 5% rise in Drinks to €354.5 million. Dairy Products grew by 5% to €60.1 million, while Pasta declined by 9% to €193.3 million. Special Products decreased by 30% to €23.6 million. For 2025, the company anticipates a €15 million reduction in financial expenses.

Despite excellent results until 2023, the nautical industry faced complexities in 2024, leading to growth normalization. Accessory and motor sector projections for 2025 are positive for 16%, stable for 63%, and negative for 21%. Charter sector entrepreneurs are split, with 50% expecting positive growth and 43% stability, while 7% project a minor downturn. Turistic ports anticipate growth in all main revenue components for 2025, with increases from +1.5% for berth sales to +3.2% for transient moorings. Italian nautical production reached a historic high with €4.5 billion in exports as of September 2024.
