Grana Padano sbarca a Dubai per Gulfood 2025

🔔 From February 17-21, the "Consorzio Tutela Grana Padano" will participate in the 30th Gulfood Exhibition at the World Trade Centre in Dubai, with over 5,500 exhibitors from 130 countries and over 24 pavilions. The Consortium is in the Italian Dairy Pavilion, Stand A1-34, featuring Chef Francesco Romano's culinary demos and daily tastings of 16-month and 20-24-month aged Grana Padano, the world's most consumed PDO cheese. In 2024, 5,635,153 Grana Padano forms were produced (+3.27% vs. 2023), from about 2,953,196 tons of milk, involving 50,000 people in the production chain. Estimated exports for January-October 2024 reached 2,730,676 forms (+10.02% vs. 2023), with a gross salable cheese production of €4 billion, split between Italy (48%) and abroad (52%).

Al via i Campionati Nazionali della pasticceria italiana

🎂 The Federazione Internazionale di Pasticceria, Gelateria e Cioccolateria (FIPGC) National Championships will take place at Fiera del Tirreno CT from February 23-26, 2025. Talents from each region of Italy will compete in categories like the best Easter dove, decorated Easter egg, dessert (ice cream cup and pralines), bread, and selections for the World Tiramisu Championship. The event will be judged by professionals and FIPGC members, with awards ceremonies scheduled for 4:00 PM on February 24 and 26. The FIPGC represents Italian confectionery internationally, organizes national and world championships, and promotes collaboration in the sector. The public can visit the Fiera del Tirreno CT from February 23-25, from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, and on February 26 from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

🍺 Carlsberg Italia showcases its gluten-free "4 Luppoli Senza Glutine" and non-alcoholic "4 Luppoli Zero" beers at the 10th Beer&Food Attraction in Rimini from February 16-18. Gluten-free beer meets rising consumer health trends, available from March in 33cl bottles. Carlsberg Group's non-alcoholic segment grew by 6% in 2024, with a 21% increase expected for Angelo Poretti's variant in 2025, compared to the market's 12%. DraughtMaster Extra10 (X10) system, launched a year ago, sold over 1,300 units, doubling sales expectations. Carlsberg Italia, 4th national producer with over 1.1 million HL, employs 260+ people. ????

Refresco svela a Beer&Food Attraction le novità delle sue acque minerali di punta

🍺 Refresco Italia will showcase its new products for 2025 at the Beer&Food Attraction in pavilion C3, stand 132, from February 16 to 18. The stand features dedicated corners to unveil products like the redesigned 75cl Valverde water bottle by designer Matteo Thun, marking over a decade since its launch. A first-time designed bottle for Fonte S.Antonio water by Thun was also introduced, alongside a new 50cl PET bottle celebrating Italy's style. The ECO can range expands with a new 50cl format featuring an innovative closure. Notably, internationally renowned illustrator Emiliano Ponzi has designed a new label for the 1L Recoaro water bottle. A stand side tribute to skier Marta Bassino from Refresco Italia and a tasting event with Centro Carni Company will occur on February 17. Refresco Italia is part of the Refresco Group, which acquired Spumador in 2011 and facilities in Sulmona and Recoaro Terme in 2012 and 2017, respectively.

Ciro Tutino porta la Ruota di Carro Napoletana al Beer&Food Attraction

🍺 From February 16 to 18, the Rimini Fair hosts Beer & Food Attraction with Ciro Tutino, Brand Ambassador for Molini Lario and co-founder of Pizzeria Bro in Naples, featuring on February 17 from 10:00 to 14:00. Tutino, a fifth-generation pizzaiolo, showcases the Ruota di Carro Napoletana with a special dough mix of 20% Supremo and 80% Larianello flour from Molini Lario. The dough includes a 24-hour maturation, 6-hour refreshment, and 78% hydration. The Ruota di Carro is 36 cm in diameter, 260g in weight, and retains a Neapolitan tradition. Molini Lario, established in 1919 in Como, mills 425 tons of wheat per day and promotes sustainability and innovation.

Stella Artois Draught Masters Italia: la finale per la prima volta a Beer&Food Attraction

🍺 Stella Artois Draught Masters Italia finale to be held on February 17, 2025, during Beer&Food Attraction at Fiera di Rimini (February 16-18). Eight expert beer pourers will compete in two three-minute draught tests, pouring three 40 cl glasses and, for the top two finalists, three 20 cl glasses. Semifinals involved 80 professionals, starting in May with contests in four Italian areas, concluding in September and October. Judges include Tom Robberechts, Allaine Schaiko, and XiaoXiao Yang.
