The festival celebrates the versatility of Malvasia grapes, offering tastings, workshops, and cultural experiences to wine enthusiasts. Entry fees range from €25 for one day to €40 for two days, with a reduced rate of €20 for sommeliers and students.

MoleCola a bordo dell’Amerigo Vespucci per celebrare il Made in Italy

🏦 MoleCola joins the Italian Navy's Amerigo Vespucci on its Mediterranean tour from March 1-4 in Trieste, after the ship began a 20-month global circumnavigation on July 1, 2023. The voyage covers five continents, 30 countries, 35 ports, and over 46,000 nautical miles. The final Mediterranean leg includes 13 ports, ending in Genoa in June. MoleCola, a 100% Made in Italy cola created in 2013 from a 19th-century Piedmontese recipe, exemplifies Italian excellence by using only national products. It is available in classic, sugar-free, caffeine-free, and bio Fair Trade flavors, in 330 ml cans and 330/750 ml glass bottles, celebrating "italianità." Certified by Italcheck, MoleCola also supports Renken Onlus for child welfare in Senegal.

Wine Lab di Partesa: il tour del vino riparte

🍷 Partesa, a leading Italian Horeca channel service company, restarts its Wine Lab tour after last year's success, featuring over 130 wineries from Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, and California. The 2025 tour kicks off with Wine Lab di Cuneo on March 3rd from 11:00 to 18:30 at La Porta delle Langhe in Cherasco (CN), spotlighting 70 producers. The Wine Labs offer tasting experiences, consultations, and continuous education, aiming at growth opportunities for industry professionals. After Cuneo, the tour will visit Milano Marittima on March 17th, Verona on the 24th, and Rome on the 31st, resuming in the fall in multiple regions including Piemonte and Lombardia. Registration is free for industry operators at https://www.partesa.it/wine-lab-savigliano. Partesa has been active for 36 years, operates in 15 regions with 36 depots, employs around 1,000 people, and serves over 34,300 Horeca clients, offering a portfolio of over 7,400 product references.

Un premio per l'eccellenza enologica del Trentino

🌞 Trentino won the Premio Vinarius al Territorio 2025 on February 25, awarded in the Sala Caduti di Nassirya of the Italian Senate. The region was recognized for its sustainable viticulture, combining tradition, innovation, and environmental respect. Albino Zenatti, President of the Consorzio Vini del Trentino, represented the region at the ceremony. The Consorzio oversees 10,000 hectares of mountain viticulture, with 89 members producing wines from 20 grape varieties at altitudes between 200 and 1,000 meters above sea level.

Ecco tutti i vincitori dei i Campionati Nazionali di Pasticceria FIPGC a Tirreno CT

🍰 Over 180 master pastry chefs from across Italy competed in the National Pastry Championships at the Tirreno CT fair in Carrara, organized by the International Federation of Pastry, Ice Cream, and Chocolate (FIPGC). The event, aimed at promoting Italian pastry excellence and setting new industry trends, concluded with awards like the gold medal for Italy's Champion. Raffaele di Benedetto won the Best Gelato Cup with "Pesca melba esotica," while Nicolas Vella's "Pralina Goccia d'Oro" took first place for the Best Praline. Milena Russo triumphed with her gluten-free, lactose-free citrus-scented tiramisu, qualifying for the World Trophy of Professional Tiramisù in November 2025. Special recognition was given to Simone Fausto Barbuto for his outstanding presentation. FIPGC has been organizing national and world pastry and cake design championships since 2015, with the goal of fostering growth in the sector.

METRO Italia consegna le targhe ai 44 ristoranti stellati della Toscana

🏆 On February 25 in Marina di Carrara, at Bar Disco Club Barlume, the Michelin 2025 award ceremony recognized 44 Tuscan restaurants with Michelin Stars. Tuscany ranked third for Michelin Starred restaurants in 2025, behind Lombardy and Campania. METRO Italia, the event organizer, is also inaugurating their third logistics platform in Pontedera in the coming months to serve Tuscan clients. METRO Italia has been the official partner of the MICHELIN Guide for eight years, and will award plaques to 393 Michelin Starred restaurants in Italy. With 3,800 employees, METRO Italia operates 48 wholesale stores in 16 Italian regions, providing integrated purchase options including Food Service Distribution (FSD), Cash and Carry, and online marketplace. The company recorded sales of €2 billion in fiscal year 2023/2024 and is part of METRO, which operates in over 30 countries, employs more than 85,000 people, and has about 15 million customers, generating €31 billion in revenue in fiscal year 2023/24.

Sinergia vincente per SANA Food e Slow Wine Fair!

🍽 SANA Food and Slow Wine Fair closed their first joint edition with over 15,000 visitors and 300 international buyers from 20 countries, including Austria, Canada, Germany, Japan, the UK, and the US. The event featured more than 2,000 B2B meetings, over 1,050 wineries at Slow Wine Fair, with 720 specializing in organic or biodynamic farming, and 250 companies at SANA Food. SANA Food had 250 exhibitors, 15% international, and hosted 50 events. Slow Wine Fair saw a 20% increase in visitation over the previous year and had over 1,200 exhibitors, with more than 70% certified in organic/biodynamic practices, from all Italian regions and 29 countries. The next event is scheduled for February 22-24, 2026, at BolognaFiere.
