🏡 Direct flights from Forlì to Vienna by Go To Fly make Styria and Carinthia more accessible from June to September. A webinar on Tuesday, April 16, from 14:30 to 15:30, hosted by Austria Tourism and Austria Vacanze t.o., in collaboration with TTG Italia, will detail the new market offerings. Travel agencies in Emilia Romagna and Central Italy can benefit from custom travel packages that include these new flights, exploring UNESCO city Graz and Klagenfurt, as well as nearby regions. The webinar will feature experts Kathrin Ploder-Augurusa, Laura Corbetta, Elke Maidic, and Belinda Schagerl.

✈ Volotea launches a direct flight connection from Ancona Airport to Madrid starting December 19, during the Christmas holiday season. Flights will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays. This marks Volotea's third international route from Ancona, following Paris Orly and Barcelona, each also run twice a week. The airline aims to boost tourist flows between Marche and Spain's capital, with prospects of making it a stable annual service based on market response. Since 2012, Volotea has carried over one million passengers from Ancona.

🚣 Antonio Bufalari, Secretary-General of Assonautica, emphasizes the need for generational renewal in Italian boating. Assonautica aims to engage young people in sailing, shaping the future of yachting. The Rome Foil Festival, an investment to attract youth, will take place at Lake Bracciano from May 15 to 18. The event will feature 600 athletes from around the world competing in sailing, surfing, windsurfing, and water skiing, alongside 800 students participating in sailing activities, with 80 exhibitors energizing local lakeside villages.

🍷 Vinitaly Tourism, launched by Veronafiere during the 57th International Wine and Spirits Exhibition on Wednesday, April 9, features 63 Italian wineries and 17 specialized buyers from the U.S., Germany, Spain, and Italy. The "zero number" edition includes 172 speed dating-style B2B meetings. A study with Data Appeal reports 18.5 million arrivals and 62.3 million presences at wine destinations in Italy, with a 2024 sentiment score of 87.8/100. Piemonte and Toscana lead the rankings. Vinitaly Tourism also offers thematic conferences on the future of wine tourism.

🥂 Caffè Moak, founded in 1967 by Giovanni Spadola, unveils "Vermouth al Caffè" at the Milan Design Week from April 8 to 13, 2025. The tasting event will be held at Cafè Voyeur by Moak inside Seletti's showroom at Corso Garibaldi 117. In collaboration with Baldoria Vermouth, they will present a coffee-infused vermouth using Caturra beans. Concurrently, Seletti and Tracey Snelling showcase "Hotel Voyeur," a lamp with customizable looped video facades.

🍷 Mionetto will attend the 57th edition of Vinitaly in Verona from April 6-9, 2025. Mionetto achieved a record turnover of €181 million in 2024, a growth of about +18% compared to 2023, with exports accounting for 82% of sales. The company confirms its innovative character with products for both Italian and international consumers and introduces alcohol-free alternatives. A talk dedicated to alcohol-free drinks is scheduled for April 7, featuring Best Bartender 2023 Vincenzo Pagliara. Mionetto will also present its Luxury Collection for distribution and a new Prestige Collection with an elegant, contemporary look and a lightweight bottle design for sustainability.

🍷 Tenuta Cavalier Pepe will showcase at Vinitaly 2025 in Verona, Italy, from April 6-9. Recently ranked among the top 100 vineyards worldwide for its hospitality and enotourism, it presents ROSSOCHIARO 2024, with innovative thermosensitive labels signaling ideal drinking temperature. Taurasi Opera Mia 2017, awarded by Commanderij in Belgium, and limited edition Appio 2018, are part of their 12 DOC, 6 DOCG, and 3 sparkling wine offerings. The estate boasts 70 hectares of vineyards, 12 hectares of olive groves, and is a model of sustainable agriculture with SQNPI and EQUALITAS certifications.

🍺 Birra Raffo's new TV spot "Ah sì! Quella con..." was shot entirely in Puglia, playing on consumer identification of Raffo Lavorazione Grezza with phrases like "the one with the yellow label" and "the one with the chubby bottle." Launched in 2024, the product is known for its distinctive design and fresh, round taste with malty notes and a hoppy finish. Viviana Manera, Marketing Director at Birra Peroni, and Alessandro Sciortino, Chief Creative Officer at McCann, emphasize the brand's ironic and positive spirit. McCann led the creative coordination, and the campaign will be supported by an integrated media plan by OMD, with social content strategy by GroupM Entertainment Italia. Raffo, founded in Taranto in 1919, joined Birra Peroni in 1961, maintaining its original recipe and now featuring a redesigned, distinctive modern logo reflecting its origins.

🍴 Casa Perbellini 12 Apostoli, led by chef Giancarlo Perbellini, moved from Verona to Bovo Marina, Sicily, for a new season, launching with an exclusive dinner. At the event, a dish was dedicated to Andrea Camilleri, the Sicilian writer, on his birth centenary. The special menu featured ingredients like Sciacca shrimp and was paired with prestigious wines, including Metodo Classico Blanc De Blancs 2018 and Dr. L. Riesling Dry-Trocken 2023.
