🚢 In Catanzaro, Assomarinas President Roberto Perocchio, alongside Regional Council President Mancuso and other dignitaries, presented a new municipal initiative for Catanzaro Lido's port. The project involves transforming a partly silted and degraded refuge harbor into a modern marina for 400 boats up to 20 meters. It includes a separate fishing dock, waterfront enhancements, and beach nourishment for the nearby Blue Flag-awarded Giovino beach. 🍕 Tuttopizza, the world's largest marketplace for pizza-related business, will be held in Naples from May 19 to 21, 2025. The previous edition attracted 35,800 professional visitors, 180 exhibitors, and 300 brands over three days. The fair featured 30 events, including competitions, masterclasses, and conferences, and was covered by 110 accredited journalists. The 2025 edition aims to surpass expectations with Tuttopizza International, enhancing its global role. The event will take place at the Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples and concurrently at SIAL Shanghai, with a special exhibition area. New features include a Buyer Lounge, Area Masterclass, Pizza Show, and Gluten-Free Pizza area. The event will also celebrate Naples's 2,500-year anniversary in 2025.

🛍 Spazio Berna, Latte Berna's flagship store, opens in Naples, celebrating the brand's 75-year history. 🍰 The 3rd edition of the Bakery and Pastry Students Awards contest is open for candidates to become a new juror alongside a panel including association president Gianfranco Cassin, journalist Claudio De Min, and three undisclosed food industry figures. The competition, taking place on April 2 at Pasian di Prato, invites top students from hospitality and professional food schools to prepare a dessert. Winners receive a scholarship for professional training at Etica Academy and a 6-month paid internship at Etica del Gusto. They will craft three cocktails each, paired with a six-course menu by Chef Alexander Robles. The event theme "Chakana" reflects Andean cosmology and includes dishes such as Pacha Kamaq and Mama Cocha, with cocktail pairings like Sip Uno with Rum La Perle.
