🍕 Tuttopizza, the world's largest marketplace for pizza-related business, will be held in Naples from May 19 to 21, 2025. The previous edition attracted 35,800 professional visitors, 180 exhibitors, and 300 brands over three days. The fair featured 30 events, including competitions, masterclasses, and conferences, and was covered by 110 accredited journalists. The 2025 edition aims to surpass expectations with Tuttopizza International, enhancing its global role. The event will take place at the Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples and concurrently at SIAL Shanghai, with a special exhibition area. New features include a Buyer Lounge, Area Masterclass, Pizza Show, and Gluten-Free Pizza area. The event will also celebrate Naples's 2,500-year anniversary in 2025.

🛍 Spazio Berna, Latte Berna's flagship store, opens in Naples, celebrating the brand's 75-year history. Inauguration event features Neapolitan actress Serena Rossi on March 16, at Via Bernini 47, Vomero. Visitors can meet Rossi at 11:00, learn about Latte Berna's history and production, and enjoy special tastings. Space hosts community events Thursdays to Sundays until June 15, with the first event on March 22 with visual artist Zeus40. Store open Thursday to Sunday, 10:00 to 19:00, free entry until June 15. 🍰 The 3rd edition of the Bakery and Pastry Students Awards contest is open for candidates to become a new juror alongside a panel including association president Gianfranco Cassin, journalist Claudio De Min, and three undisclosed food industry figures. The competition, taking place on April 2 at Pasian di Prato, invites top students from hospitality and professional food schools to prepare a dessert. Winners receive a scholarship for professional training at Etica Academy and a 6-month paid internship at Etica del Gusto. Entries for "popular juror" are accepted until March 20; the selected juror will taste finalists' creations and vote. The contest, growing in significance annually, is supported by Istituto di Credito PrimaCassa FVG and Fondazione Friuli.

🍦 Marco Bettini from Gelateria La Veneta Castiglioncello in Livorno won the "Trofeo PuntoIT" ice cream contest, focusing on "Le Creme Tradizionali alla base dei prodotti Tipici Pugliesi". Riccardo Ciaccio took second place, and Annarita Bruna came third. The first two qualify for the Coppa Italia di Gelateria 2025 in Rome this November, with the winner advancing to SIGEP 2026 in Rimini. Held during Levante PROF's third day at the Fiera del Levante di Bari, the event saw about 20 ice cream masters from across Italy compete, judged by a panel including Franco Cesare Puglisi and Vincenzo Pennestrì. Divina Colomba contest winners included Giacomo Balestra, Antonio Masulli, and Luigi Avallone, adhering to artisanal colomba standards.

🌽 Over 210 exhibitors from 18 Italian regions and Greece, buyers from 16 countries, and 176 oils competing at Olio Capitale 2025 from March 14-16 in Trieste at the Generali Convention Center. The event includes 27 local restaurants featuring olive oil dishes and 12 bars offering oil-based cocktails. Italian olive oil production for 2024/2025 is estimated at 230/240 tons, with Puglia as the top producer. Technologies, health benefits, and cultural significance of olive oil are key topics at the event.

🍻 Mixologist Filippo Sisti and Bar Manager Matteo Fornaro will collaborate on March 13, from 20:00, at Azotea in Turin for the final Guest Night event, started on January 30. They will craft three cocktails each, paired with a six-course menu by Chef Alexander Robles. The event theme "Chakana" reflects Andean cosmology and includes dishes such as Pacha Kamaq and Mama Cocha, with cocktail pairings like Sip Uno with Rum La Perle. 🍺 Peroni Nastro Azzurro and the Italian Rugby Federation will reopen the Peroni Nastro Azzurro Terzo Tempo Village on March 15, 2025, in Rome's Stadio Olimpico for the final Italrugby home game against Ireland. The event, marking the third opening during the Six Nations 2025, features world-renowned DJ Steve Aoki. The village will be accessible from 10:00 to 20:00, offering an experience of sports, music, and entertainment. Italy celebrates 25 years in the Six Nations with a special exhibit in The House of Peroni Nastro Azzurro, showcasing iconic rugby memorabilia.

🍺 At Beer&Food Attraction 2025, Fabio Russo interviewed Gegam Kazarian, co-founder of Magika Likido. The brand presented its line of non-alcoholic natural cordials made with Italian ingredients and Alpine water. The cordials, with low sugar content and balanced pH, include Edelflower, Basil, and Pomegranate varieties. These cordials are suitable for mixology and cooking, and are crafted with fruit, flowers, and aromatic herb leaves. Co-founders also include Luigi Faleschini and Silvia Centanni.

🎵 Costa Crociere unveils the C|Club 2025 Hit Parade Cruise powered by MTV, set to explore the Eastern Mediterranean with a departure from Savona on May 4th for a two-week journey. The Costa Fascinosa will feature exclusive overnights in Istanbul and entertainment reminiscent of the '80s and '90s. Live performance by Skunk Anansie on May 9th, and a DJ Set by Stefano Fontana on May 14th. From May 6-8, star chefs Hélène Darroze, Bruno Barbieri, and Ángel León will offer time-limited culinary creations inspired by famous songs.
