Affitti brevi, Santanchè: “Siamo a 10mila Cin”

📌 The Italian Minister of Tourism, Daniela Santanchè, highlighted the government's efforts to regulate short-term rentals. A reform initiated in early June requires all properties used for such rentals to have a National Identification Code (Codice Identificativo Nazionale) and to be included in the Tourism Ministry's database by the end of the year. Penalties for non-compliance include sanctions on online platforms. Over 10,000 codes have been issued in seven leading regions, adding to the existing regional identification codes being converted. The reform aims to protect private property, tourists, and combat unfair competition and illegal rentals.

Wizz Air e Airbus: si stringe la partnership per ampliare il network

In February, the first A321xlr will join the fleet, expanding Wizz Air's reach into Central Asia. Yvonne Moynihan and Christoph Zammert hailed the new design for embodying the company's strategic sustainability goals. Wizz Air Malta's new Airbus will serve over 200 destinations, adding to the 400 million passengers flown by the carrier. With an average fleet age of four years, Wizz Air aims to grow from 220 to 500 aircraft, as stated by Owain Jones during the handover at Airbus's Hamburg production site.

Air Haifa verso il debutto: in arrivo il primo ATR 72-600

✈ Air Haifa expects its first ATR 72-600 aircraft with 72 seats by end of July, from Toulouse-Blagnac to Haifa International Airport. The airline, awaiting Israeli Civil Aviation Authority operational license, plans to start ticket sales and flights from Haifa by September. It will operate flights between Haifa and Eilat, and to Eastern Mediterranean destinations in Cyprus and Greece. Founded by notable figures like Nir Zuk and former El Al CEO Gonen Usishkin, Air Haifa is the first Israeli airline established since the 1990s with a base at Haifa International Airport.

Air France-Klm e Sas, al via in settembre l’accordo di codeshare

✈ Air France-KLM and SAS signed a codeshare and interline agreement operational from September 1, 2024, as SAS joins the SkyTeam alliance. The codeshare covers a broad range of European destinations, with Air France and KLM customers gaining access to 33 Northern European destinations plus SAS hubs in Copenhagen, Oslo, and Stockholm. SAS customers will access 33 European destinations and hubs at Paris Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam Schiphol airports. The interline agreement extends across Air France, KLM, and SAS's European networks. Flying Blue and EuroBonus members can earn and spend miles/points on all flights operated from September 1, 2024. EuroBonus eligible members will also enjoy SkyTeam benefits such as SkyPriority and lounge access.
