RateHawk, impennata delle prenotazioni nel 2024

🏨 RateHawk closed 2024 with a 67% increase in bookings. The b2b platform for sales of hotels, air tickets, and transfers for tourism professionals, marked its 9th year by growing net booking value by 1.8 times compared to the previous year. In 2024, it engaged with over 70 new accommodation providers, exceeding 300 wholesalers globally, and signed direct contracts with more than 34,000 facilities, totaling 120,000 properties. RateHawk's catalog now boasts over 2.6 million properties. The service expanded to 8 additional languages, reaching a total of 32. Following UN Tourism's report, 1.4 billion people traveled internationally in 2024, nearing pre-pandemic levels. RateHawk's number of partners grew by 50%, now with over 93,000 tourism professionals worldwide, as stated by Felix Shpilman, President and CEO of Emerging Travel Group, RateHawk's parent company.

🏠 During the Salone del Mobile, Milan's Tax Free shopping peaked with a 77% increase over the previous three weeks and a 93% rise compared to the year's weekly average. Despite a general spending decrease of 15% and a 9% drop in average receipt from 2024, the Design Week generated unmatched annual spending. The Chinese shopper, with a 49% decline, remained the top Tax Free spender (15%), followed by Arab (+27%, 14%) and U.S. customers (12%). Via Montenapoleone accounted for a third of total expenditure, maintaining its 2024 level.

The new candies are twice the size of original Tic Tacs (1.02 grams), aimed at enhancing consumer experience, and maintain the brand's signature on each piece. Developed in Ferrero's Alba facility, Tic Tac TWO comes in sugar-free Strawberry Lime and Mint Fresh Sweet flavors, packaged in a transparent 38-count format suitable for on-the-go consumption. The launch targets the Horeca sector to offer a premium experience, with a commitment to innovation and local production investment by Ferrero Group.

GDF Hotel cresce, previsti 51 milioni di fatturato
