📈 UILTuCS, during their national assembly in Florence on June 11, highlighted alarming data about Italy's services sector. Almost 50% of workers in bars, restaurants, and hotels face job insecurity. Between 2015-2023, short-term contracts rose by 70%. Women in precarious jobs increased by 75.3%. Median annual earnings in restaurants are €10,000 for permanent, €5,500 for temporary, and €7,100 for seasonal workers. "Pirate contracts" lead to €7,000 annual pay gaps. The "Proposta 25-50-100" aims to improve conditions.
