Pellegrini S.p.A annuncia l'arrivo in Italia della prestigiosa Cuvée 748 Jacquesson

🍾 Pellegrini S.p.A, the official importer and distributor for Maison Jacquesson in Italy, unveils Cuvée 748 Extra Brut, crafted from the 2020 vintage, blending grapes from Aÿ, Dizy, Hautvillers, Champillon (55%), Avize, and Oiry (45%). Harvested between August 26 and September 10, 2020, the vintage faced unique climate conditions, with a mild, wet winter followed by sunny, dry spring and continued drought until late September. The Cuvée 748 production includes 170,320 bottles, 8,850 magnums, and 400 jéroboams with a dosage of 2 g/L. Additionally, Cuvée n.743 Dégorgement Tardif, initially launched in 2020 and aged for 89 months, returns with a production of 19,900 bottles and 1,009 magnums, disgorged in March 2024. Jacquesson's 2014 vintages feature Dizy Terres Rouges Récolte (2,504 bottles, 154 magnums), L'Avize Champ Caïn Récolte (11,328 bottles, 406 magnums), and Dizy Corne Bautray Récolte 2013 (5,680 bottles, 300 magnums). 🍝 Pasta Armando, a premium brand of De Matteis Agroalimentare SpA Società Benefit, will showcase at Tuttofood from May 5-8, 2025, with a new, larger space (Stand D13, Hall 4). They'll launch a new Organic Whole Wheat Pasta line during a live cooking event on May 5. Partnering with Chef Alessandro Borghese, they've also introduced Pasta Mista Il Remix, part of a mini-line featuring 100% Italian wheat and certified "Method zero residues of pesticides and glyphosate". The company exports to over 50 countries, has over 300 employees, and generates revenues over €240 million.

Bord Bia porta a TUTTOFOOD l'eccellenza irlandese: focus sul manzo IGP allevato al pascolo

🍾 Bord Bia, the Irish Food Board, will showcase at TUTTOFOOD 2025 (Pavilion 5, Stand F25) highlighting Irish food excellence, especially Irish Grass Fed Beef now with PGI status. Francesca Perfetto, Market Specialist for Bord Bia, emphasized the quality marking Irish agri-food production. Ireland's food and beverage sector exports surpassed €465 million in 2024, with Italy being a key market. The Bord Bia Quality Assured Beef follows the SBLAS (Sustainable Beef and Lamb Assurance Scheme) and is ISO 17065/2012 certified. Irish Grass Fed Beef has recently achieved EU PGI status, ensuring cattle are grass-fed for at least 90% of their diet and graze outdoors for a minimum of 220 days per year. This certification is linked to Ireland's Grass Fed Standard, initiated in 2020. Additionally, Irish organic beef is EU-certified, produced following organic agricultural practices. Origin Green is the world's only national food sustainability development program, involving over 77,000 farms and 300+ food and beverage companies, all committed to reducing carbon footprint and enhancing environmental performance. Ireland's exports in the food and beverage industry exceeded €17 billion in 2024, with beef exports to Italy valued at €233 million.
