Si alza il sipario sul design degli hotel: torna a Milano l’Hospitality Design Conference

🏨 Hospitality Design Conference is scheduled for May 8 in Milan, organized by Teamwork, targeting hoteliers, architects, hospitality operators, architecture students, suppliers. The event, from 9:30 to 17:30, will feature over 60 speakers in seminars covering the hospitality industry's entire chain, from design to management. There will be a large exhibition area with more than 40 partner companies. Topics will include industry trends, sustainability, guest expectations, hotel renovations, budgeting, and effective solutions. International and national architects and hoteliers will share case studies. The conference will be held at Melià Milano.

Zio Rocco sbarca a Roma: apre il Lab Store notturno del celebre pastry chef

Gli italiani conoscono la Dieta Mediterranea ma faticano ad adottarla

🍝 A national survey by BVA Doxa for Fondazione Edamus finds 70% of Italians view the Mediterranean Diet as the healthiest eating model. 92% claim to know the diet well, with higher awareness among youths (46%) and South Italy (42%). Though 93% consider it healthy, 88% easy to follow, and 87% appreciate seasonal product value, only 31% engage in related activities, while 51% show interest without action. Cost concerns affect 31%, rising to 39% among 18-34 year-olds. Time needed for meal prep is a barrier for 13%. Despite UNESCO recognition, 72% of Italians haven't heard of the "Emblematic Communities" of the diet, with known locations like Pollica (Cilento) and a vague awareness of others. Favored foods include vegetables (89%) and olive oil (81%). The diet's recognized benefits include reducing cardiovascular diseases (65%), physical and psychological well-being (61%), and weight control (60%). DMED 2025, an event to celebrate Mediterranean Diet culture, is scheduled for May 30 to June 1, 2025, at NEXT in Capaccio Paestum (SA).
