🎭 Stefano Cigarini becomes divisional director Merlin for Gardaland and CEO of the resort from March 1. He was previously CEO at Cinecittà World and senior VP at Ferrari. He became CEO of Zoomarine in 2008, MagicLand in 2011, and boosted Cinecittà World to the fourth-ranked amusement park in Italy by 2016. Gardaland celebrates its 50th anniversary as Sabrina de Carvalho moves to a new role within Merlin Entertainments.

✈ Volotea's Net Promoter Score (NPS) has risen to 39.2 network-wide, a 7.4 point increase since 2023, with Megavolotea customers scoring even higher at 50.5. In Italy, Volotea's NPS has climbed over 8 points to 42.1, reaching 53.9 among Megavolotea clients. Progress in 2024 includes an over 75% OTP15 (on-time performance within 15 minutes) and a 99.5% completion factor. Chief Experience Officer Alex de Jesús credits this success to a balance of quality service, personalized attention, and competitive rates.

✈ Air Dolomiti, an Italian regional airline founded by Alcide Leali, has expanded to 1,000 employees and a fleet of 26 aircraft. Joerg Eberhart, the airline's president, was appointed CEO of Ita Airways following an agreement with Lufthansa. Air Dolomiti is expected to play a key feeder role for Ita Airways flights departing from Rome Fiumicino.

🍺 Emanuele Longo of Birrificio Lariano in Sirone won "Birraio dell’Anno" in Florence at the Cartiere Carrara theater. The award, judged by 100 experts and the top 50 brewers from the previous year, recognizes craft beer contributions. 💸 Maria Tindara Niosi has been appointed as the Country Sales Director for Coca-Cola HBC Italia, reporting to General Manager Miles Karemacher, with the goal of enhancing market presence and competitiveness.
