🍞 More than 15% of sandwiches produced in Europe are wasted, with 5 million tons of bread trashed annually, worth €12.5 billion. Consumption habits demanding the freshest bread contribute to this waste. In the U.S., over 500,000 tons of excess bakery products are produced every year. Italy's Regardia, since 1981, has been repurposing these food products for animal feed and bioenergy, with wasted bakery goods containing 8-15% crude protein, 5-10% fat, and over 40% starch.

This service allows Iren employees to choose from a personalized network of affiliated local eateries instead of the traditional company canteen or meal vouchers, enhancing their lunch breaks and supporting the local economy. 360Welfare merged into a 100% Italian company in July 2023, following the fusion of Yes Ticket S.r.l. and BluBe S.r.l., offering customized welfare services. The 360 PAY group, which includes 360Welfare, employs around 600 people, spans 40 companies serving 20,000 clients, and generated over 2 billion euros in turnover in 2024.

Acqua sostenibile: BRITA rinnova il suo impegno

💧 On World Water Day, BRITA, a German company specializing in water optimization, launched the "Be a Gamechanger" campaign, encouraging sustainable water use and plastic pollution reduction. BRITA offers quality filtered water solutions for consumers and professionals and has been a reference in the domestic and professional sector for 20 years in Italy. The company has adopted two marine waste collectors at Marina Blue Dolphin in Rome Fiumicino and Venice Certosa Marina, projected to collect about 2 tons of waste annually, including plastics and microplastics. BRITA's carbon footprint is up to 25 times lower with filtered water, aiming to avoid over 6.5 billion single-use water bottles by 2025, reducing its carbon footprint by 1 million tons of CO2. BRITA also supports Whale and Dolphin Conservation since 2016 and promotes an initiative cashback until April 30, 2025, offering a €10 refund on combined purchases of a BRITA filter jug and a 2 or 3 pack of MAXTRA PRO ALL-IN-1 filters. The company reported a total turnover of €691 million in fiscal year 2023 and had 2,314 employees worldwide by the end of 2023, with 1,216 in Germany.

Coca&Cola con Special Olympics per i Giochi Mondiali Invernali di Torino 2025

Coca-Cola Company, operating since 1927 in Italy, employs over 2,000 people across seven sites.
