Alla scoperta dei PIWI: la Scuola Enologica di Avellino e la rivoluzione verde della viticoltura

🏠 At the "F. De Sanctis" Technical Agricultural Institute in Avellino, a technical seminar titled "Alla scoperta dei vitigni resistenti allevati nella Scuola Enologica di Avellino: degustazione tecnica trasversale vinificazione sperimentali vendemmia 2024" was held, focusing on the study and experimentation of disease-resistant grape varieties obtained through interspecific hybridization. Fourteen wine samples produced by students at Avellino's Enological School were analyzed for their organoleptic profile, demonstrating high-quality sustainable production. The seminar involved agricultural institutes from across Italy and was supported by multiple organizations including Vivai Cooperativi Rauscedo and Assoenologi. Discussions highlighted the impact of climate change on viticulture and the importance of sustainable and resistant grape varieties aligned with EU guidelines. The event featured contributions from industry experts, educators, and environmental officials, emphasizing the combination of tradition and innovation in Italian viticulture.
