E&commerce più sicuro: Aicel lancia il primo codice di condotta
💸 Aicel, the Italian E-Commerce Association, has established Italy's first e-commerce code of conduct, submitted to Mimit (Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy) and notified to the European Commission, enhancing transparency and safety for consumers. Andrea Spedale, Aicel's President, emphasizes the need for a systematic framework due to the sector's expansion, technological innovation, and new challenges like AI and minor consumers. Companies adhering to the code will receive a distinctive mark and be listed in a regularly updated public register, with a 45-day verification process after online application. The code addresses consumer rights, ecosustainable materials, AI transparency, minor consumer protection, and a five-member guarantor committee to enforce rules and manage conflicts, including penalties ranging from censure to a €250-€1,000 fine.
