Requisiti per aprire un Bed and Breakfast: Guida per gli host

  • Karina
  • 1 Maggio 2025
🏠 In Italy, opening a B&B involves administrative, legal, and tax requirements. B&Bs can be occasional, with no VAT required, or professional, necessitating VAT registration, commercial licenses, and Chamber of Commerce membership. Administrative steps include filing a SCIA with the municipality, registering on Alloggiati Web, complying with ISTAT regulations, and obtaining a CIR. Structural requirements limit B&Bs to six rooms within two units in a building. Professional B&Bs must open a VAT number with a 15% or 5% flat tax rate, register with INPS and INAIL, while occasional ones may opt for a 21% flat tax on short-term rentals. Support includes microcredit, "Resto al Sud" grants, and funds for sustainable tourism and digital transformation. Chekin's digital tools can reduce guest management time by 87%.

Affitti a breve termine: norme fiscali e obblighi degli intermediari

  • Karina
  • 30 Aprile 2025
💰 Italian tax authorities clarified short-term rental taxation from 2024: contracts of 30 days or less by private individuals for residential units (excluding category A10), possibly with additional services. Tax rates are 21% for one unit and 26% for up to four units – more is considered a business. Intermediaries must withhold 21%, pay it to Italy's revenue agency, issue certificates by March 16, and report annually by June 30. Noncompliance fines range from €250 to €2,000 per contract. Chekin simplifies guest management and compliance, reducing time spent by up to 87%.

Trump, i suoi primi 100 giorni I riflessi sul turismo

  • Automatic
  • 29 Aprile 2025
🚩 During Donald Trump's first 100 days of his second presidency, the travel industry experienced a marked decline in U.S. incoming bookings. A TTG Media survey in the UK showed 67% of respondents observed a drop in bookings. The U.S. International Trade Administration noted a 10.3% decrease in visitors from 20 major countries in March compared to the previous year. This contrasts with earlier predictions by the National Travel and Tourism Office of a 6.5% increase in international arrivals by 2025, reaching 77.1 million. The U.S. is set to host the 2026 World Cup and the 2028 Olympics. Marketing for alternative destinations is suggested to mitigate potential business losses.

Report Sas: persi 1,2 milioni di posti dalla Scandinavia

  • Automatic
  • 29 Aprile 2025
✈ Over 1.2 million seats lost in one year due to the closure of airspace over Belarus, Russia, and Ukraine affecting Scandinavia in 2024. Instability in the Middle East and Asia also contributed, extending flight routes like Copenhagen-Shanghai by up to two hours. This increased fuel consumption and operational costs, with European carriers reducing flight frequency. Chinese airlines increased capacity on the same routes. Sas confirmed no direct flights to China in 2025 but plans a new route to Seoul in September 2025.

Franco Gattinoni L’Italia al centro del turismo

  • Automatic
  • 29 Aprile 2025
🏖️ Italian tourism, organized through agencies and specialized tour operators, fosters employment and adds value to the local economy. Challenges include inadequate air connections, particularly to islands and less high-speed train accessible areas, with high fares during peak times. Low-cost airlines often bypass travel agencies, limiting destination access, while a shortage of qualified personnel like guides and drivers affects service quality and costs. Unfair competition from unauthorized operators disrupts the market, lowering standards. Stable, coordinated regulations from the Ministries of Transport and Culture are needed, as well as collaborative efforts between regions and municipalities under government guidance to address these issues and prevent the negative impacts of mismanaged tourism flows experienced by other countries. Investing in training, digitalization, and business growth is crucial for strengthening the sector and maintaining tourism as a vital part of the economy and communities. Opinion from TTG Italy's April issue.
