💸 Booking.com hit by the Court of Justice of the European Union ruling: clauses of parity with hoteliers deemed neither 'necessary' nor 'proportionate'. The judgement annuls the ban on offering lower rates through other channels and requires removing restrictions that hinder competition among booking platforms, affecting smaller or emerging ones. Spain has fined Booking €413 million, highlighting the penalty's positive impact on businesses, with Booking having almost a 90% market share in some years.

Dichiarazione di ospitalità in Italia: tutto ciò che devi sapere

  • Karina
  • 19 Settembre 2024
🏠 In Italy, property managers must submit a hospitality declaration to local authorities within a strict timeframe, including guest details and accommodation specifics, to avoid fines ranging from €160 to €1,100. Automated solutions like Chekin can streamline tax collection and guest registration processes. Declarations must be filed generally within 48 hours of a guest's arrival, particularly for non-EU individuals. Regional variations in regulations exist, and non-compliance can lead to penalties even if national requirements are met. Chekin also automates the creation and submission of the required "schedine alloggiati," ensuring legal compliance and operational efficiency.
