Inflation at 4% for long channels, lower than the 5.5-5 point ISTAT index. The 2024 turnover is linked to economic choices with 12% tied to newly launched products. From a pre-pandemic value of €85 billion in 2019 to €99 billion in 2023, the market is projected to reach €101 billion in 2024. Positive forecasts for 2025 anticipate visits increasing by 0.9% and value by 2.8%. The 14th International Horeca Meeting will be held at Beer&Food Attraction in Rimini in February 2025.

Debutta il Blanc de Noirs di tenuta Mazzolino

🍷 The 20-year-old Pinot Nero vineyard, located in the Valle dei Prati area with a north-east exposure and altitude of about 200 meters, has yielded the 100% Pinot Nero Blanc de Noirs Oltrepò Pavese DOCG by Mazzolino estate. The 2020 vintage involves the "coeur" of the pressing, 36 months of rest on yeast, 10% wood aging, 3.5g dosage, and was disgorged in February of this year. Approximately 3,500 bottles of Blanc de Noirs will join Mazzolino's existing 10,000 dedicated to Metodo Classico from next autumn. Francesca Seralvo, who has led the estate since 2015, acknowledges the influence of Reims winemaker Dominique Le Boeuf in achieving excellence with this sparkling wine.

Excise taxes account for around 80 cents per draft beer and 40% of the retail price for the most popular 0.66l bottled beer in Italy.
