Before applying for the CIN, they must obtain a Regional Identification Code (CIR) where applicable. The CIN can be applied for through the national database, with a 120-day deadline from September 3, 2024, or within 30 days if the CIR is issued after November 2, 2024. In regions without a CIR, the CIN can be requested immediately, with mandatory display from November 2, 2024. The CIN is prefixed with "IT" and generated by national database if regional standards differ.
