Tassare il consumo degli aerei, l’idea Ue che fa discutere

  • Tony Loeb
  • 30 Dicembre 2024
🌍 European Climate Commissioner Wopke Hoekstra proposes kerosene tax for airlines and a 'carbon price' for non-EU carriers to combat pollution, paralleling the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism. Currently, airlines pay no fuel tax despite aviation being responsible for 4% of the EU's greenhouse gas emissions and 13.9% of transport emissions. The proposal aims to boost the Green Deal's target of reducing transport emissions by 90% by 2050. Southern European countries and IATA's Willie Walsh express concerns over potential fare increases and question the environmental efficacy of the tax.

Guida Essenziale alle Normative delle Case Vacanze in Italia

  • Karina
  • 26 Dicembre 2024
🏠 In 2024, Italy introduced new regulations for vacation rentals requiring a National Identification Code (CIN) for each property and banning self-check-in methods. Properties managing over three units must register as a commercial entity. Fire safety demands 6 kg extinguishers at specific intervals and CE certified gas and carbon monoxide detectors. Guest registration is mandatory within 24 hours of arrival through the Alloggiati Web portal. Professional managers with more than three properties must register for VAT, and income can be taxed through IRPEF or a flat 21% Cedolare Secca. Regional variations in rental periods, additional local licenses, and safety standards apply. Compliance is simplified by automated solutions like Chekin.

Vacanze rovinate, rimborso anche per il danno psichico non dimostrabile

  • Tony Loeb
  • 24 Dicembre 2024
📌 In a landmark tourism-related ruling, the Naples Justice of the Peace issued sentence number 21842 in 2024, condemning a Neapolitan travel agency and tour operator. A Neapolitan family, after facing severe inconveniences during a summer vacation stay in Calabria—including a dirty room, a broken bathroom door, a cracked toilet seat, and a faulty hairdryer—abandoned their holiday. They legally sought compensation for both material damages and psychological distress. The judge upheld the right to compensation for a ruined vacation, covering both economic loss and mental suffering, asserting that tourists need not prove their psychological state to claim damages.
