🍷 Opera Ingegno e Creatività launches its first Vermouth line, Vermouth di Torino Rosso Tetti Battù, produced by Cascina Tetti Battuti di Chieri, owned by the Cometto family. The Vermouth adheres to the 22 March 2017 regulations for IG status, made with 75% Piedmont Chardonnay grapes from Cometto’s Chieri vineyards. Unique for its three artemisia varieties, it also features notes of cinnamon, cloves, and galanga. First Chardonnay plantation by the company was in 2018, with the first wine bottles produced from the 2021 harvest. The product is featured at the Opera restaurant as an aperitif or paired with desserts and is suitable for classic cocktails like Negroni and Americano.

Italy's wine stock as of February 28, 2025, was 55.4 million hectoliters, a 1.3% decrease from the previous year, with an additional 304,612 hectoliters of new wine (+71.4%) and 4.5 million hectoliters of musts (-7.1%). The wine sector could face a pronounced crisis by 2026.
