🏨 Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group acquires management of San Clemente Palace Hotel, Venice, bought by Permak Investments in 2013. Located on a private island, it undergoes three-phase renovation starting November 2025, reopening in April 2026 as Mandarin Oriental, Venice. The redesign, by Albion Nord, includes 136 rooms blending Venetian aesthetics with Oriental luxury. Amenities: four restaurants, spa, yoga pavilion, outdoor pool, sports courts, and event spaces. Close (8 minutes by boat) to Piazza San Marco.
