Disintermediazione Turistica: Guida delle Prenotazioni Dirette

  • Karina
  • 22 Novembre 2024
📦 Direct booking strategies are crucial for sustainable business growth and higher profitability in hospitality. By cutting out intermediaries like Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), properties can boost profit margins up to 25%, gain control over pricing, inventory, and guest data, leading to personalized marketing and enhanced guest experiences. Key tools for successful disintermediation include a responsive website design with fast loading times, a user-friendly booking interface, professional images, secure payment gateways, digital marketing infrastructure, and analytics. Effective strategies involve strong online presence, digital marketing, revenue management, guest communication, loyalty programs, and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with a target of 40-60% in direct bookings. Implementing these tactics systematically can significantly reduce dependency on intermediaries.

Report per Hotel: Guida per gli Albergatori

  • Karina
  • 20 Novembre 2024
📊 Revenue tracking is crucial in hotel reports, with room revenues constituting 60-70% of total revenue. Key performance indicators include RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room), calculated by multiplying ADR (Average Daily Rate) by occupancy rate. Food operations often contribute 25-30% to full-service hotels' total revenue. Labor costs typically account for 35-45% of revenue, with detailed spending analysis necessary. Customer service response times aim for resolution within 15-20 minutes for standard requests, using NPS (Net Promoter Score) for satisfaction scores. For market analysis, understanding market share and pricing position relative to competitors is important. Employee turnover rates should be kept below industry averages (typically 30-35% annually). Energy consumption patterns and maintenance evaluations are monitored, with preventive maintenance highlighted. Guest feedback analysis includes online review scores and sentiment analysis. Strategic planning uses booking pace analysis and revenue forecasting based on historical data and market trends.
