Electa: il nuovo brand premium di Ferrarelle debutta all'International Horeca Meeting

🍺 At the 14th International Horeca Meeting held until February 18, 2025, at Beer&Food Attraction in Rimini, Ferrarelle Società Benefit, the fourth largest mineral water company in Italy, introduced Electa, a new premium smooth water brand. Electa, an oligomineral water with a soft, light, and refined taste, will be available in 0.75L glass and premium PET starting April 2025. The brand's visual identity features a distinctive graphic treatment with a unique pantone color for its label and collar, and a silver seal for elegance. Electa's name harkens back to the early 20th century, deriving from Eletta, one of the sources in the Parco delle Sorgenti, and is born from the acquisition of the Fonte del Monte concession. Ferrarelle also announced a graphic restyling of its professional range and a rebranding of MAXIMA, with product presentations at Pavilion C3, Stand 080.

Salone del Vermouth: Azotea presenta le Guest Night e un talk esclusivo

🍷 From February 17-22, the Torino Nikkei restaurant-cocktail bar Azotea features in three events at the second edition of the Salone del Vermouth. Guest Nights on February 17 and 20 pair a six-course menu with six vermouth-based sips, three from Azotea and three from guest cocktail bars Giacosa1815 and Drink Kong. Giacosa1815's manager, Antonino Sciortino, ranked 252nd in the Top 500 Bars, collaborates with Fratelli Branca Distillerie for the night. Drink Kong, ranked 33rd in The World’s 50 Best Bars and 20th in Top 500 Bars, represented by finalist Edoardo Spagnoli of World Class Italia 2023. The tasting menu costs 65€ with a sips pairing option for 40€. On February 22, at 6 pm, Azotea's bar manager Matteo Fornaro joins Michelin-starred chef Gianluca Renzi for a talk at the Museo Nazionale del Risorgimento Italiano in Torino. Beer&Food Attraction 2025: l'industria bar & beverage si incontra a Rimini

🍺 Beer&Food Attraction, a B2B event by Italian Exhibition Group, will be held at Rimini Fiera from February 16 to 18, 2025. The expo, expanded by 14%, focuses on mixology and new Fuoricasa trends. 🍺 "Wondercraft" by Vetra debuts "Italiæn Graffiti", a West Coast Imperial Pils, at Beer&Food Attraction in Rimini from February 16-18, 2025. Crafted with Bådin, the 6.5% ABV beer features 37 IBU, combining Pils and Caramunich II malts, Vic Secret, HBC1019, and Galaxy hops. Available in 33cl cans with artwork by Alessandro Serra Type, it will be sold post-fair on February 21 in selected venues and online. Stefano Simonelli, Head Brewer of Vetra, highlights the old and new school fusion in this craft.

MaGiKa debutta a Beer&Food Attraction con il suo botanical cordial naturale

🍺 MaGiKa Srl, founded by three entrepreneurs from the food&beverage sector, debuts in Italy at the Beer&Food Attraction fair in Rimini, featuring the Mixology Circus event. Co-founder Silvia Centanni highlights their botanical cordial, made entirely of natural ingredients without artificial additives, low in sugars, and non-alcoholic. The cordial, named MaGiKa li ki dō, uses a craft process at km 0 and is 100% natural and organic. The first three cordials include Edelflower, Basil, and Pomegranate, catering to various tastes with their low sugar, non-alcoholic, plant-based composition. Internationally known bartender and co-founder Gegam Kazaris emphasizes the importance of natural quality in mixology. MaGiKa will be showcased at Pavilion C2, stand 045, during Beer&Food Attraction 2025.

Grana Padano sbarca a Dubai per Gulfood 2025

🔔 From February 17-21, the "Consorzio Tutela Grana Padano" will participate in the 30th Gulfood Exhibition at the World Trade Centre in Dubai, with over 5,500 exhibitors from 130 countries and over 24 pavilions. The Consortium is in the Italian Dairy Pavilion, Stand A1-34, featuring Chef Francesco Romano's culinary demos and daily tastings of 16-month and 20-24-month aged Grana Padano, the world's most consumed PDO cheese. In 2024, 5,635,153 Grana Padano forms were produced (+3.27% vs. 2023), from about 2,953,196 tons of milk, involving 50,000 people in the production chain. Estimated exports for January-October 2024 reached 2,730,676 forms (+10.02% vs. 2023), with a gross salable cheese production of €4 billion, split between Italy (48%) and abroad (52%).
