🌽 On January 20 and 21, the 4th edition of 'Anteprima olio extravergine Dop Umbria' will take place, showcasing the regional olive oil season. 🚂 Over 2,000 passengers daily utilize the new Milan-Bolzano RegioExpress line since December 15. Franco Lucente, Arno Kompatscher, Daniel Alfreider, and Renzo Caramaschi announced the possibility of increasing services due to its success. The train departs Milan at 06:43 and Bolzano at 16:57, with the journey taking approximately 4 hours. This route supports the upcoming Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics by promoting rail travel. 📣 On January 19th, Hosh charming events in Acireale, Catania, will host a charity dinner organized by "Associazione Il Faro" and Chef Luca Miuccio of Grand Hotel San Pietro, Taormina. The dinner supports "Impara giocando", a facility for recreational activities for the association's members. Chef Mario Casu among others will contribute to the menu, while the event also features Chef Dionisio Randazzo, Enrico Giuffrida, Andrea Di Prima, and Pastry Chef Luca Cammaroto. "Associazione Il Faro" was founded in 2020 by Claudia Condorelli and currently has 70 member families. The dinner starts at 8 PM and donations begin at a minimum of 100 euros per person. 🍴 Giorgio Locatelli, renowned Italian chef, discussed future projects and career in an exclusive interview on the "Foodminds" podcast, announcing the closure of his historic London restaurant and the opening of a new restaurant in the National Gallery of London, set for May 2025. Locatelli won the public tender against thirty competitors, aiming to highlight Italian cuisine at the prestigious institution. Despite the closure of his long-standing restaurant, Locatelli sees it as a natural evolution and is excited about the new challenge.
