🌊 The 64th Salone Nautico di Genova features Italy's nautical, industry, and coastal tourism. The 10th National Conference on Coastal and Maritime Tourism, organized by Federturismo Confindustria, Assomarinas, and Confindustria Nautica, is set for September 23 at 10:30 AM at Sala Forum. The conference titled "Blue Economy e Turismo: Nuove Frontiere per la Crescita Economica e Ambientale" will be concluded by Tourism Minister Sen. Daniela Garnero Santanchè, moderated by Roberto Neglia.

🎃 Leolandia celebrates "HalLEOween" with a new themed area "Draghi e Leggende", featuring itinerant animations, shows, parades, and over 40 rides for kids. On October 31, until 21:30, the park offers special events and fireworks over Minitalia. The program includes "L’Oracolo della Magia" and "Leo e il Segreto di Halloween" shows, plus 2023 hits like the "baby dance of Leo" and "Le Streghe della Luna" musical. Autumn street food and local dishes are available at park kiosks and restaurants.

🏖️ Assisi's new tourist information portal, funded by the Ministry of Tourism for promoting UNESCO World Heritage cities, was launched with updated design and content. In the first seven months of 2024, Assisi recorded over 826,000 visits, showcasing a rising trend from the previous year. Mayor Stefania Proietti emphasized the portal's role in the city's strategic promotion, aligning with the growing social media channels.

🎵 Trenitalia partners with X Factor 2024, a Sky Original show by Fremantle, airing from September 12 on Sky and NOW. Frecciarossa trains, featuring judges' faces and show host (Achille Lauro, Jake La Furia, Manuel Agnelli, Paola Iezzi, Giorgia), will travel nationally until December 5, 2024, taking finalists to Naples for the final at Piazza del Plebiscito. Trenitalia assists contestants' travel to Milan for auditions every Friday from October 25 until November 29, with showcases at Milan Central Station for eliminated participants.

🚢 Crystal Cruises schedules a 135-night World Cruise for 2026, from Los Angeles to Civitavecchia, embarking on January 11 and arriving on May 26. The voyage aboard the Crystal Serenity offers segment options, including the South Pacific, Australia, New Zealand, Asia from Hong Kong to Singapore, and finishing with Europe and the Mediterranean.

🚢 Amadeus River Cruises to launch a new ship, Amadeus Amara, next summer, designed to navigate varying river levels. Accommodating 164 passengers within 70 cabins and 12 suites, the inaugural voyage is set to sail on the Danube in early July. Highlighted by its technical mastery and elegant interior design, including an indoor pool at the stern, as touted by founder and CEO Martina Luftner.

🏖️ Luigi De Santis' True Puglia event will take place from October 1-4, showcasing Puglia's pristine locations to 50 luxury travel buyers and influential media personalities. The event, now in its third edition, previously connected 110 hotels with 200 buyers. The 2024 edition will focus on Valle d'Itria, featuring B2B meetings, authentic experiences, thematic panels, and organic networking aimed at elevating sales for associated brands. True Puglia's unique networking aims to foster long-term relationships and tailored experiences.

🏖️ Barbara Mazzali, Regional Councillor for Tourism, Marketing Territorial and Fashion of Lombardy, announced that Bellano, Lecco will host the “Festival Nazionale de ‘I Borghi più belli d’Italia’” in 2025. The announcement came after the XVI edition in Calabria. Italy has 362 certified beautiful villages, with Lombardy home to 26, ranking second in the country for small municipalities, which number 1,038 in the region.

🏥 The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, part of Marriott International and in collaboration with Oaktree, L.P. and Douglas Prothero, launched its second yacht "Ilma" on September 2 with a 7-night inaugural cruise from Monte Carlo to Rome. Ilma is 240 meters long, weighs 47,000 tonnes, and features 224 suites with private terraces. It will sail the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, and Northern Europe including destinations like Santorini, Porto Cervo, La Valletta, Virgin Gorda, Gustavia, and Saint John. A third yacht, "Luminara", is expected in 2025. Ilma accommodates up to 448 guests, offers a high space-to-guest and staff-to-guest ratio, has interiors by AD Associates and DPA, with exterior design by Aivan. The yacht hosts five dining venues, including the Italian restaurant "Seta su Ilma" by Chef Fabio Trabocchi.

✈ easyJet plans for summer 2025 include about 40,000 flights offering over 7 million seats from June 16 to September 30. The schedule features approximately 226 routes from major Italian airports, with destinations in Greece (Mikonos, Santorini, Athens, Crete) and Croatia (Dubrovnik, Split, Pula), as well as domestic flights to Sicily and Sardinia. Tickets are available for purchase across all booking platforms, including easyJet's website and mobile app.
