🍳 COMO Hotels and Resorts will open its third French property, COMO Cordeillan-Bages, on May 1, 2024, in Bordeaux's Rive Gauche, Pauillac. This 19th-century estate offers 28 rooms, including two signature suites, and features a 25-meter outdoor pool, gym, and sauna. Designed by Italian designer Paola Navone, it merges elegance with local charm. In partnership with Château Lynch-Bages, it provides exclusive wine experiences. COMO Le Beauvallon in Saint-Tropez will open on April 24, 2026.

🏨 Caracciolo Hospitality Group is enhancing its portfolio in Naples by acquiring the historic Hotel Miramare, located along the waterfront. A comprehensive renovation began mid-last year, set to last for two years, aiming to maintain its historical elegance with modern design. An exclusive management deal with Essenza Hospitality, led by Giovanni Paone, starts in 2026. The plan includes luxury seaside offerings and two restaurants managed by Essenza, featuring cuisine by acclaimed chef Vincenzo Guarino.

🍴 Towns of Italy launches its new Tourist Hub & Cooking School in Rome's Palazzo Colonna, near the Trevi Fountain. This marks their fourth location, adding to those in Florence, Milan, and Palermo. Established in 2006, they specialize in experiential tourism for international visitors. CEO Luca Perfetto highlights this as a flagship store, enhancing Rome’s tourism with cooking classes and iconic tours, including the Colosseum and Vatican. 🏖 Constance Hotels & Resorts introduces a new Water Villas concept at Constance Halaveli Maldives by architects Marc Hertrich and Nicolas Adnet. Located in North Ari Atoll, 25 minutes by seaplane from Malé, this 5-star resort has 57 overwater villas, each 100 sqm with a private pool. There are also 28 beach villas, including 8 duplexes (410 sqm) and a Presidential Villa (700 sqm). Onsite experiences include dining over the sea, a PADI 5 Star dive center, and various leisure activities.

🏨 Sorrento, April 2026: The Grand Hotel Flora reopens as a four-star design hotel after a full renovation by Giuliano Andrea Dell’Uva. Originally founded in the 1960s by the Mascolo family, the hotel now boasts 121 rooms, including 14 suites with sea-view terraces. The rooftop features a pizza & mixology bar, Oliva, and a pool inspired by Gio Ponti, opening in June 2026. The hotel aims to be a social hub with modern, lifestyle-driven hospitality.
