🍸 Mio Lab at Park Hyatt Milano, a high-end cocktail bar located opposite the historic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan, has undergone a dual transformation after ten years. Architect Flaviano Capriotti redesigned the space with new color palettes and textile coverings in collaboration with Dedar. The bar features a marble, elm, and brushed brass counter and offers a 300-label selection of spirits and liquors. Bar and Lobby Manager Alessandro Iacobucci Vitoni introduced "Italian Touch," a pre-dinner drink in two flavors, reflecting the new upholstery colors. The bar's cocktail menu boasts a Classic Collection with barrel-aged variants and a Contemporary Collection with unique taste experiences, including the signature "Mr Smith" cocktail. Chef Guido Paternollo's culinary creations complement the drinks.

🌅 Interno Marche, a destination hotel, opened in April 2024 in Tolentino, Italy. The 3,600 square meter property, once home to Nazareno Gabrielli and Poltrona Frau, now features 25 designer-inspired rooms and 5 suites themed around 20th-century stylistic movements. ORAstudio designed the hotel, with Fabrizio Mancini handling lighting and Luigina Giordani landscape design. Platek provided lighting solutions, including Jan Van Lierde's DOT for interiors and Chiodino, Shield, and Mini Corniche for garden lighting, enhancing both functionality and scenery.

🏖 Le Dune Piscinas, an exclusive 5-star resort in southwestern Sardinia, showcases the architectural transformation of a former mining warehouse by FVR Engineering and PL-AG Studio. The resort features 28 rooms and suites, three restaurants—one led by Michelin-starred chef Fabio Ciervo—plus a spa, gym, and outdoor pool. Historical elements such as stone flooring, Orosei marble, original wooden beams, and a large fireplace have been preserved. Outdoor furnishings by Pedrali, including Panarea armchairs by CMP Design and Reva Twist sofas and chairs by Patrick Jouin, adorn the American bar I Gechi and the library, which houses local cultural and mining history. Poolside Rail sun loungers and Elliot tables add modern comfort for relaxation with a sea view, all contributing to a refined yet respectful atmosphere blending contemporary elegance with the site’s history and natural surroundings.

🍳 At Sigep 2025, HorecaTV's Fabio Russo interviewed Giovanni Palmentieri, CEO of Mozzarè Casearia. They highlighted their Fior di Latte from Italian milk, a highly regarded product different from those made with European milk, emphasizing quality and excellence. Additionally, Mozzarè unveiled a product line for restaurants and pizzerias, including preservative-free, ready-to-use vegetables with a 15-20 day shelf life, aiding in consistent quality and food cost optimization.

🏠 Couvent des Minimes Hotel & Spa, built in 1613, was a former convent for Minime nuns and then Franciscan nuns until 1999. Located in Provence, it boasts 48 rooms and suites inspired by the local sky and landscape, featuring natural materials and colors like beige, white, and olive green. The hotel offers a 2,500-square-meter wellness area with outdoor furniture by Tectona, including teak chaise longues, Copacabana deck chairs, and Exeter modular sofas, complemented by Duxford tables and Roma umbrellas, all set within Mediterranean gardens with almond, rosemary, olive trees, and lavender.

🍴 Andrea Monesi and Sara Orlando, known for their starred restaurant "Andrea Monesi" at the Locanda di Orta, have partnered with Chef Federico Testa to open a new restaurant concept, Ristorante Essere, in Palazzo San Graziano overlooking Lago Maggiore in Arona. The design blends classic elements with contemporary details, featuring a glossy black open kitchen and strategically placed tables. The tasting menu reflects childhood flavors and home cooking traditions, enhanced by a curated wine selection by Sommelier and Maître Sara Orlando. Ristorante Essere complements, rather than replaces, the continued operation of the Locanda and plans for expansion into a new area in Orta San Giulio.

🏠 The Grand Hotel Parker’s in Chiaia, built in 1870, is Naples' first luxury 5-star hotel and the latest addition to Relais & Châteaux. Hosting the two-Michelin-starred George Restaurant, led by Chef Domenico Candela in 2023, it offers refined Neapolitan cuisine and stunning Gulf of Naples views. 🍕 Maestro pizzaiolo Errico Porzio opens his 17th directly-managed pizzeria "Al Solito Porzio" in Lecce on March 20th. Located at Via Taranto 52, the venue boasts 200 seats, a dehors, and two large indoor rooms. The menu features Classic, Special, Vegan, Social, and Fried Pizzas, along with Neapolitan desserts and craft beer. A gluten-free section with dedicated oven and fryer is also available. Open daily for lunch and dinner, with reservations possible after the first week.

🏛 Opening on April 12th, Vetera Matera, a new Relais & Châteaux address in the city of Sassi, was born from the synergy between Gruppo Bellevue and a local entrepreneur. The hotel offers a sensory experience with 23 rooms, including 8 suites, distributed across a complex that spans from the Middle Ages to the 19th century. Chef Eduardo Estatico heads the restaurant, which offers a gastronomic journey with local flavors. The spa features the innovative Zerobody system with 400 liters of warm water, providing a unique gravity-free experience.
