🏨 Scandic is expanding in the Arctic with a new Scandic Go hotel in Tromsø, Norway. Scheduled to open after summer 2026, the hotel will feature 170 rooms and complete by 2028. This will be the third Scandic in Tromsø and the second Scandic Go in Norway, addressing the demand for central, accessible accommodations. The hotel emphasizes sustainability, targeting the Nordic Swan Ecolabel with recycled materials and efficient systems, aligning with responsible tourism goals.

🌊 Meliá Hotels International debuts in the Maldives with the Meliá Whale Lagoon, a 5-star all-inclusive resort featuring 100 oceanfront villas, including Water Villas, Sunset Suite Villas with private pools, and family-friendly Beach Villas. The resort boasts four restaurants and bars offering Mediterranean and international cuisine, two infinity pools, and a spa. Entertainment includes live music, outdoor cinema, cooking classes, and children's activities, ensuring a luxurious and engaging experience for guests.

📅 Ennismore will exceed 200 hotels by 2026, doubling its portfolio in four years through a joint venture with Accor. Key openings include Delano Miami Beach, Hyde, and Mama Shelter in Mexico City, and Delano London. Morgans Originals debuts in Paros and Mumbai, expanding into Greece and India. Rixos launches in Cancun, Phu Quoc in Vietnam, and Murjana in Saudi Arabia. Mama Shelter Lake Como in Italy opens mid-2026 with 150 rooms and four restaurants.

🏨 Four Seasons will open a new hotel in Cartagena, Colombia, on May 15, 2024. Located in the artistic Getsemani district, the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Cartagena will feature 131 rooms in historic buildings. It will include 27 Spanish colonial-style and 104 contemporary-style rooms, along with a three-bedroom suite with a rooftop pool. Guests can enjoy eight dining concepts, a Umari Spa, fitness center, and event spaces featuring two ballrooms.

🏠 Hilton, in partnership with Placemakr, will debut the "Apartment Collection by Hilton" in the U.S. by mid-2026. This portfolio targets medium to long stays with fully furnished apartments, ranging from studios to four-bedroom units, debuting in New York, Washington, and Atlanta. Offering hotel-level amenities, this initiative aims to add up to 3,000 units to Hilton's current 10,000, with plans for further expansion through new franchising agreements. Hilton Honors points integration is included.

🏨 Je Rome di The Ner Collection, a new 4-star superior hotel, opened recently near Rome's Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. The hotel features 29 rooms, including 2 suites and 6 junior suites, all uniquely designed. The Ner Collection, founded in 2019, also manages The Cross, The Major, and Relais Monti.
