🏨 A total of 117 hotels were opened, offering over 15,000 rooms in the first half of 2025 by Accor Group. As of June 2025, Accor's portfolio included 854,695 rooms across 5,740 hotels, with a pipeline of over 241,000 rooms (1,432 hotels). Europe North Africa saw a 3.3% increase in RevPAR, mainly driven by France, contributing 43% of the region's room revenue. Despite geopolitical challenges, Accor's growth continues due to diversified hotel strategies.

📍 Mama Shelter will open its first hotel in Bangkok, Thailand, with 578 rooms in 2029, as part of The Platinum Square project by The Platinum Group, featuring a 48-story tower and a four-floor shopping center. Ennismore, Accor's lifestyle division, announced additional upcoming openings: Medellin (2025), Mexico City (2025), Cape Town (2026), Casablanca (2026), and Val d’Europe (2028). Currently, around ten hotels are under construction worldwide, including locations in Europe, the Americas, and Africa.

🏨 Ennismore, part of Accor, expands Mama Shelter to Bangkok, Thailand, with a 578-room hotel opening in 2029, developed by The Platinum Group in a 48-story tower called The Platinum Square. Globally, ten Mama Shelter hotels are in construction. Planned openings include Lake Como, Amsterdam, and Los Angeles. Val d’Europe near Disneyland Paris opens in early 2028 with 150 rooms. Medellin launches by late 2025. Singapore sees an opening this year, Cape Town in 2026, and Casablanca in Autumn 2026 with 141 rooms.

🏠 Oriana Homèl, an Italian brand specializing in designer residences, launches new sites in Treviso and Trapani. 🏢 The transformation involves the ex-Mulino Mandelli and Palazzo della Banca d’Italia into sustainable urban residences. Treviso will feature 23 apartments designed by Matteo Thun, while Trapani offers 23 suites overlooking the Egadi Islands. Oriana Homèl aims for 250 apartments and €20 million in revenue by 2030, blending domestic intimacy with hotel services and sustainability.

📍 18 new hotels joined Preferred Hotels & Resorts by June 30, 2025. In Italy, new members include Castello di Velona Resort in Montalcino, Valtur Cervinia Cristallo Ski Resort in Cervinia, Savona 18 Suites in Milan, and Cala del Porto Punta Ala in Castiglion della Pescaia. Other additions span Europe, Asia, Central America, and North America, with notable locations in Austria, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Singapore, China, Costa Rica, Mexico, Colombia, and the U.S.

🍝 Centogradi PastaBar to open a new branch in Milan in September. They seek a motivated counter assistant with 2-3 years of experience. 📅 Summer 2025, Florence: The Teatro Luxury Apartments Firenze by Starhotels will open fully in autumn, following a soft launch this summer. This high-end residential project started in 2020, developed by Hines and Blue Noble, aims to revitalize a strategic area by the Arno River. Key features include the new Piazza Maria Callas and amenities like a Wellness Center. The project is a significant urban regeneration effort, enriching the local community.

🏨 Gruppo UNA expands into Basilicata by adding Hotel La Martella Matera, located 10 minutes from Matera's center near the Sassi and the Parco della Murgia Materana. This UNA Italian Hospitality collection hotel offers 38 rooms and suites for both business and leisure travelers. The restaurant features Lucanian specialties and regional wines. The hotel provides outdoor parking with an EV charging station and shuttle service to the nearest airport. UNA Italian Hospitality now boasts 24 affiliated hotels, focusing on Southern Italy.

🏨 Dopo 8 anni, il Waldorf Astoria New York riapre a Manhattan con 375 camere, ridotte da 1.400, e 372 appartamenti residenziali. Dal 1° settembre, 4.300 m² sono dedicati a eventi, mentre una nuova spa di 2.000 m² aprirà presto. La gastronomia include Lex Yard, Peacock Alley e Yoshoku.
