Azemar presenta Bawe Island, il lusso a Zanzibar

🏖️ Azemar launched the Bawe Island resort near Zanzibar's capital, Stone Town, accessible by a 15-minute speedboat ride. The resort opened during the summer and features 70 luxury villas ranging from 200 to 500 square meters, each with a private pool, large garden, sea view, and outdoor Maldivian-inspired bathrooms with Villeroy & Boch fixtures and Dyson hairdryers. Amenities include 4 à la carte restaurants, a large miniclub, the Rebirth spa, diving and watersports centers, tennis and padel courts, gym, and yoga spaces.

Doppio adempimento per l’ottenimento del CIN: obbligatorio il CIR prima della registrazione nella Banca Dati Nazionale

💰 Italian property owners and tourism accommodation providers must request a National Identification Code (CIN) by November 2, 2024, to comply with new regulations. Before applying for the CIN, they must obtain a Regional Identification Code (CIR) where applicable. The CIN can be applied for through the national database, with a 120-day deadline from September 3, 2024, or within 30 days if the CIR is issued after November 2, 2024. In regions without a CIR, the CIN can be requested immediately, with mandatory display from November 2, 2024. The CIN is prefixed with "IT" and generated by national database if regional standards differ.

A Bellano, in provincia di Lecco, l’edizione 2025 del Festival Nazionale de “I Borghi più belli d’Italia”

🏖️ Barbara Mazzali, Regional Councillor for Tourism, Marketing Territorial and Fashion of Lombardy, announced that Bellano, Lecco will host the “Festival Nazionale de ‘I Borghi più belli d’Italia’” in 2025. The announcement came after the XVI edition in Calabria. Italy has 362 certified beautiful villages, with Lombardy home to 26, ranking second in the country for small municipalities, which number 1,038 in the region.

WTTC: non si rinuncia ai viaggi e nel 2024 cresce il contributo del turismo sul pil globale

🏖️ In 2024, global travel industry spending will reach 1 dollar out of every 10 spent. The sector is expected to contribute $11.1 trillion to global GDP (10% of total) with a 12.1% annual growth rate, exceeding 2019's record by 7.5%. The US, China, and Germany will lead travel expenses. Employment in the industry will hit 348 million in 2024, 13.6 million more than pre-pandemic. The US contributed a record $2.36 trillion to its economy last year, while China added $1.3 trillion, and Germany $487.6 billion. The top ten travel economies also include Japan ($297 billion), the UK ($295.2 billion), France ($264.7 billion), Mexico ($261.6 billion), India ($231.6 billion), Italy ($231.3 billion), and Spain ($227.9 billion). China is predicted to become the largest travel market by 2035. International visitor spending is set to grow by 16% this year, reaching $1.9 trillion, while domestic tourism spending is expected to hit $5.4 trillion, a 10.3% increase from 2019.
